Word on second thought, there’s no way that’s his mom.

0:46 - Keisha: "You see that Rolls Gold?"

Um, Is that child's name Rolls Gold? Don't play with me now.
Those last 70 seconds, Randle in a nut shell.

Awful 2 for 1 3PT attempt when we are up 2
Doesn’t close out on Sabonis --> open 3
Takes another side step off balance 3

We got sucked into the Randle vortex where all good feelings go to die.

A propos of something not entirely relevant (trying to think about Gobert on Team France, fwiw ;) ) I came across this article, which I thought was very interesting about the spacing provided by elite rim-runners / block-and-dunk (B+D) merchants. Obviously, per se, it's a defense of Gobert, but the theory seems equally applicable to the current (well, end of last NBA regular season) Mitch.

A little more diffusely, this (admittedly homer) article about Gobert x Houston in the playoffs uses/makes similar arguments

Wow - you're a vicim of summer doldrums, too. His knee was so badly injured he coldn't play for the USA team. He's able to work out and play to get in shape for the season. So it's pretty bad. So bad that Ian Begley interviewed Mitch in an article today and was too upset to even ask about the knee. And Mitch was so worried about his knee he couldn't bring himself to mention it to Begley. https://www.sny.tv/knicks/news/mitchell-robinson-allonzo-trier-talk-expectations-for-knicks-2019-20-season/310027514

That, and we had all that extra salary cap lying around that had to be put to some use, or all the good folks at RealGM would have

And that's why you sign vets like Gibson and Ellington. It's not always about rotation minutes. The kids need adults in the locker room.

Why not just install Wingo in a rocking chair in the corner of the locker room then?

They'd get their elder time with dirty Grandpa at a greatly reduced cost to the franchise.
