We need to get the crazies the hell out or its curtains.
I hope Germany, Japan and other countries are working hard on their CO2 capture research, because it's hard to have a lot of confidence in the USA quickly turning things around on this stuff. I would think the Dems will need to capture all three branches and own not just majorities, but strong majorities in order to prevent the expected resistance from the party of extremists.
I don't know if it's fair to criticise the Obama admin on this stuff, but I can't help wonder if he shouldn't have made this stuff more of a priority, putting it above healthcare, say. I know the extremists would have done everything they could to block his efforts, but still.
Plus, there's certainly been years of damage done to the govt and govt-science infrastructure by the Trump admin that will take significant extra time to clean up. Some of it may not be able to be fixed at all, such as the fraudulent imbalance of the supreme court.
Anyone who has a pretty good handle on this stuff should be rightfully furious at what the extremists, elites and all-around dumbasses have done to this country. I can't help but wonder when things will get a lot nastier in terms of personal conflict, the closer we get to the end.
