What's The Trade Price On Mo Bamba?

I'm a Mavs fan, so feel free to include their players/picks in a deal. Luka and KP are off limits though, of course. lol.  8-) :P :D

Honestly, I don't see anyone id give up a top 6 pick for, that is just me. And you have 2 studs, so if you even have a pick next year it probably wont be good.

the problem is, Dallas doesnt have any other good, young players. and honestly, i wouldnt want KP. i worry about his continued health. He is a decent big man, but i dont view him as a star.

From the Mavericks... with Doncic and Porzingis off the table...

There's probably not a deal that makes sense.

The uncertainty surrounding Bamba makes him very difficult if not impossible to trade at the moment. You can't value him properly.

From a trade-value perspective, I would rank his NBA value as in the 80-150 range. That means an asset and a first should pry him loose from a pure talent/expectation level. But I cannot see the Magic trading him for such a package.

For me Bamba being traded would be something of a package to increase the SG line. Say Fournier, future first, and Bamba for DeMar DeRozan.

As stated above, the Mavs do not have a package that could lead to a DeRozan-type asset.

IMO, Brunson + future first would be fair value. But it's hard to see the Magic giving up on Bamba and trading him for fair value anytime soon.

Do you honestly believe that Mavs will make the playoffs in the Western Conference this season? If not, it's a lottery pick with a chance to be top 4. This is much higher value than late 1st.

I somewhat agree with your opinion on Brunson, I also think his trajectory is a back-up PG in this league. However, a prospect is a prospect and he qualifies as an asset on rookie scale contract. He also fills the position of need for this team.

IMO, an asset and a pick is about the right value for Bamba. I think someone else mentioned this as well. I looked through the Mavs roster and Brunson is the only player close to being an asset outside of Luka/Porzingis.

His value is low, but I wouldn't trade him for Brunson + 1st today, maybe in the trade deadline when we know better the kind of pick that we would get and if we know that we are short at PG (Fultz still injured).

Brunson averaged 9/3 last season in 21mpg (14/4.5 post All-Star Game), it's very good for a backup, IMO.

Bamba won't be traded until he's into his next contract. Dallas is more likely to get Vucevic than Bamba

Dallas traded their next 2 available picks to NY. they cant trade another 1st until 2025
