Dont they have a guy who’s supposed to be in lottery next season? Whats his name?

Théo Maledon, don't know much about the guy, tbh.

Makes sense, especially if he's spending most of those minutes with Batum and Gobert. That'd be a good defensive lineup in the NBA, I can't imagine going at that in FIBA

I still hate +/- as a stat though. It's really only tangentially related to how well you play

Yeah, +/- is not a good stat to use and its all a small sample size in FIBA exhibition games.

Even from an eye test though Frank looks like he is having a positive impact and it's encouraging to see. Thats even without him scoring much.

Our only weak position is PF, and Sekou Doumbouya (rookie for Detroit) will be the one for this position in the future, Jaylen Hoard (2 way contract for Portland) as well !
These next coming drafts will be loaded of french talents !
Thx again TP9

USA is still stronger than France and other countries, but the gap is getting tienier since all the NBAers from France came !

Which version of Ron's hair. I believe he had a permed hairdo at one point. Amirite?

Actually, that was a misplaced pubic wig

yeah, I've seen positives too but, he isn't dropping buckets on such lesser talents (yeah I know that teams players don't score much) but, his field goal percentage is still below average against lesser defenders. I don't think he rebounds or does enough other things to survive unless he blows the staff away in training camp.

I think Frank gets his chance when the injury bug hits. Fortunately, he can fill in at the 1, 2 or 3. Until that time he should play some in the Gleague.

Spencer really breaking down all the things people are missing about Frank's improvements if they are just reading box scores and not watching the games

Mainly:
- His confidence. He gets to his spots without hesitation and moves with much more intentionality.
- His physicality. I think we've all noticed how much bigger he is, but he's starting to use that more to dominate defensively. In addition to his footwork, anticipation, and perfect rotations, he's now able to hold his ground and not get bumped off by screens or bigger players posting him up.
- He's still making winning plays. Boxing out, cutting, making very quick reads.
- Has been seamless moving off ball to on ball. Has been a consistently good playmaker in either role.

Its not all about what you see in the box score

Well, Jeffries and Lin gave us our most entertaining ball in almost 20 years. Jared was on fire when Linsanity erupted and he played really well during that stretch.

Knicks haven't played winning basketball in years

Frank's play style contributes to winning basketball

Hence why some people can't see why Frank can contribute to a team

Most Frank haters are still stuck in Plato's cave

If Frank becomes our best guard (which I already believe will happen), I don't want to hear it, I just don't, go find the exit and get out

It's the fact that we took him with a lottery pick is why Frank triggers such strong negative feedback. If he were taken in a more appropriate spot like back half of the second round.. Frank would be more welcomed here
