Even when he's hot, I despise watching Drury's at bats. Just terrible.

Meanwhile, vs the powerhouse tigers tonight, Sanchez went 2.1 inn, gave up 4 hits, 3 runs, walked 2, struck out 1, and gave up a HR.

...and on to the DL he goes. Sore pectoral muscle. His fastballs in the 3rd inning: 88, 88, 90, 90, 90, 89.

Urena throwing 88. Not well, mind.

Edit: hitting 90. Regrettably, ball was moving faster going in the other direction soon after.

And that’s why an opener (or as I like to call them starting pitchers) shouldn’t be pulled after one inning.

From a Dodgers fan;

So it turns out that Bichette had a multihomer game against Kershaw for only the 6th time in Kershaw’s career, AND Bichette was the first rookie ever to do so. The last guy to do it was Jose Reyes in 2017.

Bichette is starting his big league career like most of thought Guerrero Jr would.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Unfortunately for Vladdy, he’s been pitched like an established perennial all star since the moment he set foot in the big leagues.

Is it me or vladdy being "rested" more than most rookies. I mean if he requires days of when he's young what's going to be the case when he hits 30?

Are other premier rookies being rested like vladdy?

Yeah Bichette is the only player we haven't really rested yet. I wouldn't expect Vlad to be sitting much after this season though.

He is very large and he was also a little hurt a few days ago.
