Jeffries was a 6'10" defensive specialist who could cover most positions at a high level while having limited offensive ability
He was also a 20 MPG player for his career.

Many NBA teams felt like he earned the right to be out there.

Frank doesn't have the O face game Jeffries had, though

^Jarad never got the respect from Knicks fans he deserved. No one racked up charges like he did and I will always remember him chasing Carmelo down the court in Denver for that sucker move he made.

And rightfully so...He was trash. Hardaway JR lead our team in charges too and is adept at picking them up. Still buns.

Damm. Really? Now he's too old to improve. Give him the vet's minimum or trade him. Jeez. And he seemed like he was just a kid last year.

You guys really like to eat your young here. The thought of finding out what you all think of Knox scares me.

There has been a drought of youth on this team for decades. Rarely any talent and no one ever makes it to their 2nd contact. It's crazy how fast people give up on players.

Frank is prob the only young guy that Knicks fans are 50/50 on. You either hate him or love him

Knox is more like 70% love. 30% hate

Which one of the players warranted more patience?

It seems that folks love Mitch. Trier, Dotson and even Knox to a certain extent too.

You named 1 good draft from a year ago... and Dotson. Knox gets plenty of hate. KP even had haters!!

Fact remains...this team has been devoid of young talent for decades...and none that were any good signed a 2nd deal...unless we wanna count the Trier and Dotson deals. Oh...and Charlie Ward was it? I'm still on team Frank. Don't @ me!!!

He's washed. He's the new Herb Williams. Dudes been around forever!!!

I've heard he and Vince Carter are both doing their retirement tour together. He's opening a baguette shop on the lower east side post retirement. Been a great run.

But let's give Elfrid Phucking Payton playing time. Idiot front office.

 not really a fan of the Payton signing. Not a bad deal but...whatever. I get it. The team isn't standing still for Frank. Phil drafted him for the triangle...he never should have been allowed to make that pick if you were gonna fire him.
