You could not live with your own failure. And where did that bring you?

Well.... this is going to be a weird season for me. Great to see the team back and ready to contend.... but we've sold our soul to get there it seems. Never was a Cousins fan and have never believed the hype surrounding Howard. What's next? Melo?

I’m not mad at all at this. Some people need to stop living in the past. The contract details are solid and it’s nothing but upside. If Dwight pouts and whines he gets waived. If he plays anything like his Orlando days, we are a very scary team. Dwight has Finals experience as well.

The genius part of what Rob Pelinka did was that Dwight fills a hole for now, and if things go south we can waive him and pick up another guy during the deadline. Rob is doing a great job.

This is a clear exercise of game theory for the Lakers

OK
I will stay on Pointe and continue with :
How will Howard be used on Leonard and how will he defend Leonard.

Kawhi is the #1 focus Pointe for me getting thru the Clappers to the Finals.

I gauge all we do on how we defeat and limit Leonard.

There's not much risk. It's just getting past his year in Los Angeles and how he left.

If he does what he's asked to do, he'll be a really good addition. This team needed more size and I think him being a bigger body than Joakim Noah was probably the difference.

I don't care how much he makes this guy is a damn waste of time clown show. This is an irrelevant move because he won't be a Laker for the entire season as he inevitably will mess up in a unique and embarrassing way.

There are players that have messed up bodies due to injuries and there are those that have messed up heads.
Dwight has both.
As much as I would love to see this work, clearly his history the last 5-6 years illustrates a broken player with a bad attitude.
Unless he’s miraculously healed his body and has gone through intense psychotherapy, Dwight will always be Dwight.
I don’t even think he’s a risk worth taking. Toxic is toxic no matter the price. And getting rid of him in midseason again puts us short at the 5 spot.
Besides that, even if healthy , he has refused to play Pick and roll D since he left Orlando.
Again, I hope I’m wrong on all accounts.

I think he will be 70% of the player he was in Orlando and we will win the championship with him being a key player in our rotation. Revisit this topic again in June!
