I'll probably shell out for both Disney and Apple at some point, but probably only once I feel like they've got a solid month or two's worth of programming to binge upon.

Would recommend not watching the trailer. It gives away way too much.

Would you go and see a new Star Wars movie in the cinema? I would, the subscription will be about the same price and I'll pay it to at least take a run through the first season of The Mandalorian.

There's almost a 100% chance I pay for Disney+ at some point.

That Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ package is so good for you guys. No announcement on any bundles for us yet but the yearly subscription works out to like 7 bucks a month so it's a pretty clear *shuttup and take my money* from me.

Yeah but that 7$ package includes commercials.

If they have a bundle without commercials under 20$ I'm getting it no questions asked

Yea, if they do a bundle with Hulu Live it would make it worth it immediately for me.

Disney is dropping episodes weekly, which I am really looking forward to from a streaming service. I know it sounds weird and maybe it is, but all episodes dropping at once usually overwhelms me and I don't go back to shows. I am still way more likely to watch shows on network TV, cable, or HBO because I know there is a certain time each week I sit down to tune in. I otherwise start shows and don't go back to them.

So anyway, I will happily throw down a $7 for a few months to watch The Mandelorian, Obi Wan in 2020/21, and might check out some of the marvel shows (love Scarlet Witch and am so excited there's going to be even a semi-X-men show).

I wonder if Amazon would try to buy Netflix first. They really seem to want to be in the content game and do have some decent shows but this would cement their place in the market.

I have two kids under 5 so the Disney+ subscriotion was happening either way but it's nice to see they might have some content I'll actually watch on my own.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Out after a couple of episodes of season 1. Didn't hate it but had other stuff to watch. But I've heard good things about it so I may revisit.

Succession gets really good after the first 3/4 eps of slow buildup in S1.
