502 plate appearances by the end of the season or enough hitless ABs where he would still be able to have the top average.

Hope he qualifies or LeMahieu holds on.

502 seems like alot.. I thought it was like 400, alot of players don't get to 500. I think he falls short of that.

Kay did some math saying he'll have to play in the rest if the games except for 5 in order to qualify

They split the series, but in reality, they got pounded by the Indians.

Let's hope they play better if they meet in the playoffs.

walks are counted as at bat in determining the 502. that's why Barry bonds won a few battling titles with just 350-400 ab because he also had 150-200 walks.

I hope you guys don't get too complacent as you glide, for the next month, into the playoffs. Might take the edge off you guys a little bit.

Razor close game to the end.

What a bullchit 9th inning. Gleyber run should've counted. Regardless, bases loaded with 1 out and Tauch and Judge chit the bed can't happen.

Whatever, come back tomorrow and win.

Tauchman and Sanchez. And that Torres run definitely should have counted. Ridiculous calling timeout with the ball still in play and runners running around the bases just because the player with the ball is on the ground? Tough loss but good to see us playing well again in LA.

Beat Kershaw tomorrow and it can still be a good road trip if they take care of business in Seattle.

Tauchman really had a couple of high fastballs there that were asking to get smacked or at least gone deep enough to drive in the tying run in a sac fly. Just couldn’t get it done. I won’t get on him too much though since he’s been steady for us this yr.

I hope by some miracle LeMahieu wins the MVP.

I know Trout has been stellar and probably does deserve it, but the homer in me wants to see DJ get it. And hell, he’s been leading us to the best record in the AL. I know voters only care about the WAR stat or OPS. But damn, what DJ has been doing is damn impressive.

I think Trout is beating him in every offensive stat except batting average though.
