The cosmos are reading this board and punishing your guys. Start a JJ hype thread.

lol I started Perry, Askren and Conor. If I could have, I would have started a Diaz and DC thread but they've been steadily growing over the years. Perry might not ever reach the elite level but he's certainly an interesting guy to follow.

I'm 100% down with a Jonny Walker thread. He's the next LHW champ.

The Conor thread was made in 2014. We've always known Perry was just a super character. Askren had an aura/mystique to him until Jorge kneed that **** straight out of his brains.

I was worried Askren hadn't gotten better / may have gotten worse since his Bellator peak.

https://www.bloodyelbow.com/2020/1/8/21056251/ufc-mike-perry-continues-attack-actor-michael-jai-white-calls-him-n-word-mma-news

Getting in trouble for using the N word.

Not a fan of using this word but think people are going wild as **** for Mike Perry using it. Mike has spent more time in the black community than all of the journalists combined that are calling him out on this ****. Sure, it's not OK for the journalists to say that **** but if it were a problem for Mike saying it in the community that he grew up with, that **** would have been rooted out right quick and stopped.

He's got a lifetime of acceptance due to class solidarity and now has ascended to a level where he's a somewhat public figure and the media wants to tear down our Lord and Savior and I ain't havin it.

I've probably asked this in this thread, but I just can't stop wondering if the Lloyd Christmas haircut is a curse or something he consciously goes for.

He's just so damn physically strong. I mean, he manhandled a BJJ black belt and he had some of the most meatheaded boxing imagineable. Did not move his head, did not swivel his hips, threw lead punches like he was swinging a hammer (slamming them down rather than moving his hips laterally). Donkey Kong moves with more grace.

Quite possible he took advantage of lax USADA to run a cycle, yeah? His buddy who went to the PFL is no stranger to the needle.

I really think that fight came down to corner advice.

Do not accuse the GOAT of anything like this.

He's the GOAT and you know it. Bow to his greatness. That's pure alpha.

Perry might be so dumb and hardheaded that he's actually better without a corner. If he doesn't want to listen to them anyway, it's just a distraction.

Nah, there were so many obvious adjustments to Gall's terrible stand-up. With a coach, he could have gotten Gall out of there no problem. Traps he could have been setting in order to land a KO.

Perry will have coaches for his next fight.

Was he at ATT at any point? He's **** game and his style just seems to be made for that gym. DP/Jorge would be really good people for him to learn from considering they also are **** GAME.

I'm just happy we have Mike Perry on this Earth.

Literally anyone anywhere would be good people for him to learn from. Day 1 MommyFit class students, e.g. It's unbelievable how little defensive movement he has.
