randle could make or break the fate of this teams future, if he's legit then the knicks are in great shape.

Seeing Kanter clean up tempers my enthusiasm for how good Randle looks. Get off my court Enes! OT, Enes probably will do fine with Boston. He can do his little crap out there and get by and score some points, rack up numbers and gobble up boards.
Weird that he'll be in Boston though. It's also weird how they have Kemba and Kanter ... not two guys I would have guessed Ainge would want but I think they're decent acquisitions for them.

Danny outmaneuvered himself and ended up desperate

It’s great to see. Still hoping they surround him with 4 shooters at some point during each game so he can do what he does best.

Re: WOJ: Julius Randle 3/63M (Team Option)
I'm anxious to see if Randle is going to get treated like James Harden or Carmelo Anthony by the refs... I've watched MANY games where Harden just bowls himself into the defense and gets the foul call and counter-wise I've seen games where Melo was battered and didn't get any calls. I often wondered was it because of the name on the front of the jersey...
In any case, Randle poses a serious problem to defenses (especially if his jumper is working). This mofo is strong enough to back down most..., well too strong for most stretch fours and too quick for traditional fours. They're going to have foul him - so the question is "Will he get the calls?" I'll be watching also to see if Zion will get these same calls.
*Sidenote: Does anyone else here want to see DSJ pick n roll with Randle??? And don't help off of Mitch because DSJ will 'lob'.

Randle working on defense too!
Asked what he’s worked on this summer, Randle said, “A lot. Making my offensive game more efficient and defensively watching tape and see how I can be better.’’
It’s like when lil bitches make subliminal records, if it ain’t directed directly at me, I don’t respect it

I've liked Randle since his LA days.
Of course, his games against KP and Enes haven't damaged his cred at all.

Def need Mitch to cover up the defensive side, but what I assume they will do is have Knox come in for Mitch and move Randle to the 5. If DSJ is able to crack the 37% from 3, that 5 could be a potent offense (assuming Dotson starts who knows with fiz)

As he should be, dotson is severely overrated by this board.
He is on the outside looking in the rotation. Him and frank.

RJ and Dennis are pretty much a lock to be our opening day starting backcourt if they don't falter during pre-season.

I honestly don’t know what to expect. Last year they accepted the tank, this year they’re back to the “compete” mantra. I’d start him, but I also wouldn’t let any of the signings besides Morris and Randle be a consistent part of the rotation

Overrated how? Most on the board didn't even care whether he played or not. And plenty have tossed him to the trash heap after we drafted RJ.
He’s a good shooter who doesn’t need the ball in his hands and plays adequate to good D. 3&D SGs next to a score first PG makes sense. He at the minimum should be a lock for 20 mins and in the every game rotation

I dunno, we will see. Trier could easily step right in at the 2 if the starting lineup is lacking shooters.

The majority of this board believes he's a starting level sg wch is blasphemous.
He put up numbers on a bad team last season. Nothing more nothing less.
He's a 12th man at best.
