Fournier was better when both players were 24 years old:

If Brooklyn is hoping for "upside", well Orlando should in turn hold on to the better Fournier.

I think we'll see Fournier hit a higher level this season, but Levert looks a lot more promising. He was smashed by injuries last season, but (by splits) in the games where he got starter minutes, he did really well.

32mpg
20.7ppg
4.8rpg
5apg
4.9FTAs
TS% .574
3fg 37%

The sample size is small, only 12 games, but the promise is there. Levert is the kind of player that would make a huge impact to the balance of our team as a perimeter playmaker who can hit the 3, get to the ft line and make a pass.

Levert's problem has always been health.

NCAA:
13-14 In May he suffers a stress fracture in left foot (sidelined for 4 months)
14-15 In early January he re-fractures the same left foot (season ending injury)
15-16 In early January suffers a Jones fracture again to the same left foot (season ending injury)

NBA
16-17 returns from Jones Fracture injury in mid-December, makes All-Rookie team
17-18 misses 10 games from knee injury
18-19 In early November suffers severe right leg injury/dislocated right foot, returns to bench after A-S break

I have it as a major red-flag that LeVert is a sub-average jump shooter. On the wing, I cannot see how he can command a 17.5M deal. He is currently a high usage, low efficiency scorer.

Back to Fournier: he has been efficient. A bounce back year by him, and I think the Magic will be stable at all five starting slots (minus injury considerations). Adding bench depth, I like this team.

he's been good, had a 29 points perf againts Italy on 10/15 shooting with 22 in the 2nd half ! ( his record ) , 15 points in 5 minutes draw a lot of spotlight on him , I think personnaly that he is in great shape and found back his shooting mojo.

Nope and he still doesn't want to go for the bald style. That must hurt for him , he explained one time on a vid that his hair losss was due to multiple modifications to his hair during his youth : blond dying /hair smoothing

Evan had a pretty ‘meh’ year last season. Hopefully he can regain some efficiency this year.

If he can get back to his career shooting averages before last season that would be HUGE for the teams development and solidify our playoff standing in the east. Would open up more driving opportunities for AG and Issac.
