TMZ Sports has obtained court docs and a police report filed by DC's ex-girlfriend, Christy West -- claiming the NBA star threatened her on August 23, just one day before Cousins was set to marry his new girlfriend, Morgan Lang, in Atlanta.

From what we know so far, I can understand why he would be mad but he went too far with the threat.

This bitch probably gets a **** ton of child support from him and probably makes it as hard as possible for him to see his son. I understand cousins frustration but he should know better.

sounds like the broad was withholding his child from him, definitely shouldn't have said that but I get the frustration...these nasty ass hood rats always using children as a meal ticket.

If you're a public figure in this this day age you have to assume that everything is recorded. It doesn't matter what she was doing or saying, Cousins should have exercised some discretion.

Not even getting into this. She's foul for keeping his son from his wedding and recording that to give it to TMZ knowing how he'd respond. He's foul for threatening physical harm on her no matter if he meant it, he was mad, or whatever. I feel bad for the kid, sucks to be used as a pawn to get back at your other parent instead of them putting what's best for you first.

Honestly doesn't sound like him. Also what's the legality of being recorded without knowing in Alabama?

Also why are some people claiming he's a bad father? Even if this is him, he obviously wants to see his kid. How is wanting to see your kid make you a bad father? That literally makes no sense.

you're more than welcome to think that, i think it's the other way around given the ridiculous amount of sample sizes we have with these hood rats and pro athletes.

I have no idea, because full stop you can't threaten people. Cousins is a millionaire. He has access to lawyers. If he's the biological father and wanted access / custody for his kid he could easily get it. Especially if he was already required to pay child support - that comes up after you go to court.
