I don't know... the results look pretty accurate. I mean, if we were talking soccer I would expect the US to come in under 2%.

If the US roster was more vets I'd believe it, but many have dropped out. I really think people are overestimating how good this US team is.

Other countries may have a better #1 or #2, but this US team is better at positions #3-12 than any other squad.

C'mon man...

Khris Middleton, Kemba Walker, Donovan Mitchell, and Jayson Tatum would ALL be the BEST player on any one of those other countries.

I've watched a few Eurolegue MVP's not be able to start in the NBA... but no, I admittedly don't watch Eurolegue.

This USA team may be worse than 2002 team which failed to win any medal on home soil or 2004 team which lost 3 games and somehow squeezed bronze medal in Olympics. They should not be rated as clear favorites at all. Some USA teams would outtalent other teams but this one clearly is not the case.

I guess that 22% of Serbia is now quite pointless. Out in QF.

That is why they have a coaching staff now that develops a gameplan and put in effort in preparing the team for the world cup. Those early 2000 teams just met close to ne tournament without great preparation and that is why they failed. Of course this US squad is not as talented as previous US squads. But you can overcome a lot of talent deficits by fighting, playing as a team, and preparing the right way, just look at Argentina.

And loss to France just proved my point. Now all is needed to lose to Serbia and end up lower than 2002 team
