Originally from an interview with the Athletic, Hendriks talks about the Warriors organization (not just the players top down), have a huge sense of arrogance, rather than being a brotherhood representing the same city.

Athletics Player Liam Hendriks Slams Golden State Warriors: 'They Treated Us Like Sh*t'
Oakland Athletics closer Liam Hendriks went full scorched earth in an interview with The Athletic, bashing the Golden State Warriors over how he was treated by the organization, especially after the team got good. "I don't follow the Warriors. They treated us like s**t over here so we don’t care for them much," Hendriks said about how Golden State switched up on him and his teammates once they became the toast of the town.

"When the Warriors sucked and the A’s were good, the A's would give them tickets," Hendriks said. "When the Warriors became good they decided to cut all ties and become ****. So, no love lost for them leaving." Starting this upcoming season, the Warriors will begin playing in their new arena, the Chase Center, in San Francisco, after ending their nearly five decade-long tenure in Oakland's Oracle Arena. The A's play next door at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.

Hendriks claims the mean-spirited behavior extended to their parking lot attendants. He said he was once told that his status as a player on the Athletics means less than that of an average Warriors fan. "I got told I'm not as important as a player for the A's as a fan for the Warriors is," he recalled. "He wouldn’t let us out of the F Lot. We’re trying to get out and he wouldn’t let us out."

People may not be familiar with Hendriks, but he was selected to his All-Star Game this year in his ninth MLB season. He has a career-best 1.43 ERA and 16 saves this season.

I'm not exactly on his side asking for special treatment over ordinary fans. It's honestly a bit entitled. I'm not otherwise taking sides.

I'm all for giving the Warriors ****, but Liam Hendriks wasn't even on the A's when the Warriors sucked. Entitled much?

Really not surprising at all, considering the franchise never wanted to even be associated with the city of Oakland and took on the name of Golden State. Kind of embarrassing how they paid lip service to the city but couldn't even look after the city's other professional (and more successful overall) sports team.

MLB and NBA are neck and neck in terms of viewership and interest, so I'm not sure why you guys are saying no one gives AF about baseball.

Personally I don't care very much about baseball, but many people do.

I’m not sure it’s necessarily about the free tickets but more that they gave the Warriors free tickets and the Warriors didn’t try to find a way to reciprocate (maybe not necessarily free tickets, but something).

Doesn’t surprise me at all though. Aren’t most Warriors fans and personnell newcomers or bandwagon people who would have no recollection of the times prior to them becoming good? That type of person isn’t big on taking care of other teams in honor of times when the situations were reversed - cause they have zero perspective on that situation.
