His position takes away stashing a player for next year too. Allison, Kumerow, and Davis are all FAs and due raises. That's not to mention the Martinez, Crosby, Fackrell, Tonyan, T. Brown, Lancaster FAs, oh and Kenny Clark negotiations. Hell half the current backup OL are FAs. If you don't like half of those you'll still need to fill those positions somehow and then you're again relying on a rookie or spending money.

By the way, I'm not advocating a Taylor cut. I agree with people who think the depth is worth it. But I don't think you draft an interior OL that high to sit on the bench.

I'm assuming Kizer gets the nod and they try to sneak Boyle on the practice squad. LaFleur's offense requires a more mobile QB and as much as I like Boyle, he's a statue in the pocket.

I'm really hoping that a team lets a decent vet backup QB go somehow. Maybe NE decides to ditch Brian Hoyer with Stidham playing so well. We need someone like that who even if they aren't good, would at least give us a chance to win a game.

They really missed the obvious headline of Moore doesn't know why he 'dropped' down the depth chart.

Asked by Eisen if players like Rodgers and Luck, who are considered smart people and deep thinkers, might pose a red flag for NFL teams, Rodgers said that would be a mistake.

“I think it’s probably a ridiculous view by folks who don’t have any creativity or any other interests outside of the thing right in front of them 24-7," he said. "I think the beauty in this game is meeting teammates who have interests outside of football.”

When you’re talking about leaders, you need to find guys who can be relatable in the locker room.
