I'm still annoyed that the packers didn't start Boyle week 17 last year. Starting Rodgers was the height of idiocy but even kizer was a waste of time at that point. It was pretty clear he couldn't play.

Boyle might be terrible too, but you can't really tell until you see them in a real game and that was a good opportunity to get a look.

Williams over Carson has seemed obvious to me.

Yeah, with both Jones and jamaal healthy it's doesn't matter if he's not ready since that 3rd back probably won't be active on game days right now anyway.

I don't mind a vet QB
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Lazard waived. WTF. Wonder if that means Shep makes it.

I would much rather keep the 24 year old Boyle that looks like he has intriguing NFL talent instead of bringing in a 33 year old Hoyer that played well in 2016, below average in 2017 and pretty much not at all in 2018.

I really like Shepherd but I thought the more prudent play was keeping Lazard and trying to sneak Shep onto the practice squad.

It depends how bad his injury really is or they might be thinking teams won't want him anyway and they'll sign him tomorrow when ESB is put on the IR.

Yup the status of Lazard's injury is the key factor

Weird move. Like were they really that worried a guy like Crawford wouldn't make it through waivers?

Not saying he would want to do this because IR means a full year salary and accured year for his pension but say ESB wanted to play this year could he ask for an injury settlement release or does he have to go in IR?

Dont really think it's all that weird from the Packers perspective.

Then again I dont think he was going to make the final roster even if he hadnt gotten hurt.

Only person to make it that would be my surprising move, I guess would be Chandon Sullivan.

The rest make sense.

Hope Lazard makes the practice squad.

My thought is why not give yourself the option of bringing him back mid season. I fully expect them to make a couple moves in the next couple days so some of this 53 won't be there by Thursday.

ILB needs a boost.

Backup QB going with Hoyer would be a solid addition.

WRs are so young and inexperienced. Gutekunst better be right or we're in for a long year with #17 having no help. I am excited for Trevor Davis being on the roster and his speed will be good for this offense.
