Glad I caught the last two innings.

Sounded like a doozy of a game, thankfully DJ's bat woke up today.

CC Sabathia was placed on the injured list Saturday for the fourth time this year by the New York Yankees.

The 39-year-old lefty, who plans to retire after the season, was removed from his start Friday night against Oakland due to a recurrence of pain in a balky right knee that has bothered him for years. He was put on the 10-day injured list with right knee inflammation, and the Yankees recalled right-hander Jonathan Loaisiga from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Sabathia was scheduled to have his knee drained and receive a cortisone shot Saturday. He could be given another lubricant injection as well, all part of a treatment and maintenance regimen that has become common for the six-time All-Star over the past few years.

Hindsight says Yanks should've probably transitioned him to the bullpen this season. Who knows if yesterday was the last we'll ever see of CC.

Throwing the series against the A’s nice.

Kahnle after Gardner's HR and then the rest of the pitchers after Ford's walk off was hilarious.

I wasn’t saying this but we always find a way. Boone trust all his guys and I think they know that.

Oakland’s bullpen doesn’t want to see us in the playoffs.

This is legit like my favorite Yankee team ever. These guys are so effin resilient. So many guys who can contribute day in and day out. If the starting pitching shows up in the playoffs i think it's a wrap to be honest. Everyone else can buy the hype on the Stros.... I'll ride with my guys in the Bronx all day

To be fair any die hard Yankee fan should be riding with the squad we have in the playoffs. They’ve been clutch all year.

But this isn’t hype with the Astros. Verlander just pitched his 3rd no hitter and Cole is on pace for 300Ks.

I was at the game today, we went down 3-0 and I left in the 8th inning to beat the traffic, so mad I didn't get to see the walkoff smh

Very true I mean if we lost this series it wouldve sucked but not a huge deal, but wow this team is resilient. Been a special crazy year with all the injuries and the unknown about who's gonna be back or not, it feels like 100 guys have contributed this year.

Typical Nets fan behavior.

Welp, I hope you at least made good time driving back to Jersey.

I hope those tickets were free.

No way I'm taking my ass off that seat until the game is wrapped up with the price of those tickets.

Starting pitching is gaining momentum as well. Severino can come back and be a huge spark for us who the hell knows. Everybody has been stepping up so why not.

That 3-run homer should do it. Prove me wrong, Yankees!
