Nonsense, Germany doesn't have anybody decent beside Shroeder right now. Be truthful please.

Zipser, Theis, Kelber... They've got some solid players.

Not a first tier team but their roster is above average in this tournament.

So Fournier /Gobert/Batum/De colo/Ntilikina aren't good enough compared to Germany players you mentioned.

I rate France higher than Germany. You seem to have misunderstood my post

42.5 is margin at bet365 now. So I would say 65/35 in your favor. :D

That was faul on Jovic in transition in 2nd to last possesion of qt after we conceeded 3pt. But it's ok.

I think the calls are like 3\5 in favour of Serbia, so I can't really complain about that ))
The spd was -35,5 when it came out on bwin, -36,5 when I bought it (x1,833) and -38,5 before the game started, so seems aight, but who knows. I totally don't expect pinoys to play their 3rd unit and Serbia might do that as soon as the end of the 3rd.

Just, our secound unit is still strong. Boban didn't entered the game at all.

I just cant figure it out how Phillippines can't be better at basketball? As I heard they like it really much, and have population around 104 millions. Maybe size and athletic disadvantages, really don't know...

We got around 7 million people and played last 3 finals of most important competitions.

serbia is wasting too much effort on blowing up teams. They seem to forget that it's juste the begining of the comp.
Gonna backfire at one time.

Their excuse is that they are short, but its hard for me to believe that they have less basketball size people than lets say Slovenia or Lithuania, countries with literally 100X lesser populations. Their domestic league is absolutely terrible, could be worst professional league first division in the entire world, doesnt look professional whatsoever if you watch it.

Good stuff ))
What have you got for tomorrow? I'm thinking Lithuania +7,5 should be fine and Turkey +21,5 ain't bad either. NZ vs Montenegro +3,5 on Zealand seems reasonable and maybe Czech -7,5 against Japan.

Congratz, easy win on Serbia ;)

Be aware of Montenegro. I think they will beat NZ. Lithuania looks ok and USA also. Czech, they played pretty solid agains USA. Pass them, I think they will beat Japan easily. Rui Hachimura can't do all the stuff alone. :)

Rui got schooled by old Ilyasova last game )) And yeah, they did look solid, Japan not so much, even though Turkey are about average themselves. Montenegro I don't know, they're weird, might blow easy games when you don't expect. If NZ gets it going from distance I think they can be super close, like 1-3 points difference, which is enough.

I'm looking forward to USA/Turkey. USA the clear talent edge, but Turkey's got a quality group that can keep it competitive if they don't dissolve under the full court pressure.

Poland sucks... They've got pretty good players (compared to China) and yet still play so bad.

From interbasket forum

ja.he wrote:as a filipino, i will tell you that the loss to italy was not welcomed here in my country. we actually don't want this coach and our league itself. we could have had a good 3 month preparation but the league, where most of our national team players are playing, gave us a 1 month prep with an incomplete line up (because most almost of them are playing for the semifinals of their respective ballclubs) and only 12 day full training before the world cup with a complete line up, only 6 tune up matches against ivory coast, congo and adelaide - these tune up games were actually trash. no quality opposition whtsoever. you know the reason why we have that kind of ugly preparation? because our domestic league is still running and this domestic league runs the whole year - no offseason, it starts at january and ends up in december. the players are tired physically and mentally.

our coach, who has little to none experience in international basketball, really has no idea about fiba brand of game. he is our own version of larry brown and chuck daly (very poor version). also, his professional team was beaten by college team by 30 points. tells you what kind of coach he is.

it's just frustrating for an ordinary filipino fan like me that our performance are this bad right now. our domestic league only cares for the money not on the country and welfare of the players.
