Don't mind me, I'm just a long-time lurker who likes to joke. Also a fan of DSJ myself.

I come in peace. You're a legend here.

*gasp*

It's like an episode of the Masked Singer.
Those last 70 seconds, Randle in a nut shell.

Awful 2 for 1 3PT attempt when we are up 2
Doesn’t close out on Sabonis --> open 3
Takes another side step off balance 3

We got sucked into the Randle vortex where all good feelings go to die.

It's been reported that his knee surgery is why he dropped.
That wasn't the reason he dropped all the way to 9 is the point. Teams were reportedly scared away because of concerns about his mental makeup which included his work ethic. A top 3 talent (again some felt he was the top talent) wouldn't drop to 9 even with the knee issues.

Well...I would think ACL surgery has a huge impact on things. Most likely...bigger impact than any work ethic rumors. How can a top 2-3 talent have bad work ethic.

high talent low work ethic happens all the time. people have argued for 2 other players atop DSJ's draft class (fultz, jackson).

others that come to mind:
beasley
OJ mayo
all of the top 3 picks of 2015 class (KAT, okafor, russell... then hezonja lol)
wiggins
jabari parker
anthony bennett lol

i mean... more drafts have such players than not.
RIP magnumt

welcome home, thibs.

Yeah...I knew that point was off when I hit send. I just let it rock.

I'm sure it takes hard work coming back from an ACL and getting to the position to be considered top 3 talent. I'm sure the injury had a lot to do with him falling.

Beasley is really the flag-bearer imo. He thought he was a can't-miss prospect and he was right behind AD, Rose, Luka and Zion as the most talented player that I've seen enter the league in the last decade plus. The talent level was out of this world. I remember I was disgusted when Miami picked him.

Mindset, love for the game, resilience, intelligence, those qualities are so underrated when evaluating players. That's why I believe in RJ even though it make take some time.

Oof. Jr. and Peyton with the chemistry. Jumper looking wet. God damn, Fiz's job won't be any easier this year trying to split up minutes. I really hope DSJ, Frank and RJ can all coexist somehow.
