Everyone in Philly compared him to Speights from the moment he started at Nova, very funny/maybe not surprising he ended up with the Warriors.

Think he's better than WCS too.

When Looney returns, either Spellman, WCS or Chriss likely falls out of the rotation. Who gets the short straw?

I gotta think WCS or Chriss depending on match ups. Smailagic needs to get back before Looney so he can get some minutes though.

If we have enough healthy bodies to fill out a normal rotation, I would expect Smiley to get the vast majority of his minutes in Santa Cruz. For his development, he needs about 30 minutes/game and he won't get that as a 3rd string center.

Chriss. Warriors are hampering him on purpose to keep him in our price range. Coaching staff isn't stupid. They are going to give him guarantee his contract in January and try to come up with a wink-wink deal for next summer. Smailagic is going to get minutes.

Spellman is a rotational player. We haven't even begun to see his potential yet.

So my draft love for Spellman was warranted right?

The chemistry between Paschall, Spellman, and Draymond is nice! They are the "All Beef 3 Patty Burger" lineup.

We need to deal Willie quickly to open up space for Looney and Smiley to get some time without cutting into Spellman and Chriss to much.

Here's a look at the log jam.

C; Looney, Chriss, Spellman, Smiley
PF; Draymond, Paschall, Spellman, Smiley
SF; Paschall, Robinson, Draymond

With Willie gone you could at least keep these guys playing and finding chemistry and rythm.

Yup woulda coulda shoulda needs to get moved. Hell even getting a conditional 2nd that never conveys would be good so we can just sign bowman.

Definitely deal WCS to a contender if possible. I'm just afraid we'll win too many games if Spellman or Chriss starts.
