The Czechs were not a credible challenge. They could not handle pressure - too few NBA-grade ballhandlers. That led to transition opps for team USA. Then in the halfcourt they had no prayer of defending Kemba and Mitchell - those two got excellent looks fairly easily.

Turkey should be more challenging. More dynamic shooting, more skilled size, guys who can match up better on the wing. Still will struggle if USA puts on the pressure, but they could take advantage if we don't execute.

Japan should be our biggest victory all tournament - they looked completely helpless defensively and their guards will get eaten up if we press.

Jaylen has been trying to be popular since he got into the league. If people disliked him or thought that was badly faked, we'd know it, even more clearly than we know that some pople think his intellectual superiority is overstated.

As for Smart -- it's always seemed like he's a nice guy except when he blows up, and also that his anger has for a while been under good control. And certainly Anna Horford's brother had high regard for him.

Don't worry. By December, their collective slogan will be "Just wait till we get KD back next season!". Looking forward to the DNP-load management on March 3rd.

They talk so much **** about our young guys who happened to lead our team further in the playoffs than the Nets have gotten in 16 seasons. I understand why they are mad. That would piss me off

Speaking of which - the main target of their vitriol - Jaylen Brown - was, according to Anna Horford, tied with Marcus Smart for being the nicest Celtic she had met. "Super dope guy!". She was drunk last night and had an impromptu Q&A on Twitter.

I will take Anna's word over any Nets fan's word who claims he has sources. Pretty clear who Anna's source is.

Not the greatest Yokozuna.

But the best Yokozuna from 3.

Is there the only one naturalized player per country rule? They picked Fazekas instead of him. Fazekas is bald, didn't know that. Rui is quite good.

China is Indiana, Poland is Boston. When you are winning with a few seconds to go, don't throw the pass to the other team.

Theis, 8 rebounds, 5 steals. He did lose to the baseball team country.

Canada still playing their Scrubbs.

If you look at the Aeroflot picture on the free throw line, you will see the engine is on fire with smoke pouring out.

Seems alright.

Great to be young.

USA needs to pull away again.

Tatum and Kemba played really well. JB has to shoot better, especially FTS. I don't know who that coach was jumping down Smart's throat but he better back the hell up!

Yeah. I don't think Jaylen Brown is a 4. He's a 2-3.
