Hell of a limb you are going out on with that comment.

True, let me amend it to something more realistic.

He won't crack triple digits in minutes

Can I start a petition to ban +/- as a stat outside of being used over a whole season?

Coach says during the press conference :
Frank is getting stronger which makes him more agrressive, mostly going inside and provok fouls (6 totals)
He wants him to keep being offensive, he's very happy that Frank is taking his chance and France needs it !

Good to hear he’s playing with confidence! That’s the key for Frank imo.

I think its the same thing for each player when you have a coaching staff who trust you, and the mindset for a short competiton isnt the same compare to a whole NBA season.
The mindset is diff because he was chosen among the 12 players, that already increase his confidence. Then now he starst the game with 3 things to do that he does very very well :
- Defense
- Organize every begining of possesion
- Get ready moving off ball to shoot 3's

So far he completes his goals, and having Nando de Colo having a great game facilitates his game! When you have someone like him who can handle the ball with so much confidence it makes the flow of the game much more smooth and also gives Frank more confidence.
The whole French team plays well together, even if Serbia remains favourite still.

I need highlights. I still do think Frank pairs well with RJ. If he could be efficient out there on offense he almost has to get consistent minutes I think.

Of course it is but while some of that blame is on frank plenty is on the knicks and there player development starting with Hornecek.

He is now playing in France with a coaching staff that believes in him and a system that suits his game. Honestly while he has struggled mightily with his offense in the NBA a lot has to do with our organizations lake of offense system and development. I saw from a mile away kid would get gun shy about shorting because if he missed he would be taken out of the game for Jarrett jack. Now you can get much worse than that from a coaches perspective.

I will give frank credit he played a good game today 12 points, 5 assist, and 5 rebounds. I am not going to be negative towards frank today he got 48 hours until the next game.

Agreed.

That's part of why we really need to give Frank more time to develop. He can be a versatile defender that could pair well with a lot of our back court guys and fill a HUGE need.

Frank/RJ
Frank/DSJ
Frank/Trier

You need a good defensive player that can play off/on the ball next to those guys. Developing a consistent jumper is key, but its something that is definetly possible for him to do.

Solid game. My main issue is his consistency, confidence and ability to put everything together. His shot seems better, still needs to work on his ball handling.

I still don’t know if it’ll translate to actual NBA games but we’re headed in the right direction.

Frank Nitty looking quicker! Thought it was one of their other shorter guards out there in one highlight the way he was moving around, and then he drained a jumper and they said "Ntilikina!". I was like, "oh sh*t, Frankie!".

My guy has a spot on this team. Especially if we're going for the gritty, in-your-face-defense look.

I guess I'm a radical in the sense that I think that a special role player is almost as valuable as a very good scorer. A little less rare I guess (maybe) but you need guys who can fill in the blanks. That's how you stay close in games and staying close in games is one of the keys to being a good NBA team.

You obviously need to check a few boxes, but a guy who is passable offensively and does little things (mainly D, being disruptive) is not that easy to find.

The 'New NBA' is definitely a question though. Can you play Frank in this league now. Not sure admittedly. I do think trends come and go though. Nothing is permanent.

If Frank plays the way he did this morning, he should have a comfortable spot in the rotation. Hopefully this continues against tougher competition. This was as promising a performance as I could ask for.

Frank is the type of player you use to close out games.
