These games are meaningless. It is crazy NBA players play in them. Sure it is great to build your brand but it you want to win NBA championship it is no place for your players. I loved watching the game don't get me wrong. It is great to watch well played basketball.

Is what it is, I could see if you're a championship contender, but sending young guys when we aren't doesn't seem like a big deal. Injuries can happen during drew league or practice, sucks to see that happen but, I don't think it was a mistake to let them play.

Remember, if Team USA somehow wins the tournament, don't forget to go on the GB and claim it as a Celtics victory since so many people are just waiting to pounce and blame it on our boys.

He can sit out vs Japan.
That will give him 4 days, before Round 2.

That's what it looked like... pretty standard looking sprain via rolled ankle. Would be surprised if he's out for more than a week or two max.

Are any of these tourney games going to be on at a reasonable time or are they all at 8:30 AM? Hope the final games are on a weekend.

Looks like Team USA will be playing every 2 days (odd numbered) until the Finals (God willing) on the 15th (Sept. 2019).

So if Tatum sits against Japan, what does Pop do--move Harrison to 4 and start JB?

Yeah time to sit Tatum down for the remainder.

This is cool and all, but Banner 18 >>> a FIBA World Cup.

Tatum really struggled shooting, but he got to the line 6 times, had 11 boards, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. I'm not too worried about his shooting, so his all around game growing is damn good to see. His defense has been awesome for the most part as well.

Jaylen not getting back in the game for the entire 2nd half/OT, yikes.
