Serbia just leaning on Italy and letting the difference in quality show over time in all the little things.
Djordjevic runs a tight ship.

Early in his career he was SF. But he had his breakout season in Turkey when he was moved to PF, and thats how he played his way into the NBA. He was ok SF, but he was much much better as PF.

Now the score is becoming a little too "liar" ... 67-85 with 4:35 to go

Italian short rotation and lack of inside game doesnt help in long term. Once Gallinari gets tagged and muscled by Serbian 3&D bench mob, Bellineli goes cold, you cant expect much.

I still wonder whether Djordjevic is hiding the cards or he's really going to play this way all the games. I don't like Jokic at 4, Gallo was slashing us today with that lineup.

Good win after all, Raduljica backed off Italians when it was close.

I presume Jokics minutes go to 30 and he starts when Serbia goes deeper.

You see his he might be the best player in the world cup when rules are taken into consideration.

That group was a joke only because of China. Poland, Venezuela and Ivory Coast aren't any worse that the other teams that were in their pots.

I mean, I know that we are good but are we that better? Italy got pretty solid team.

Serbia absolutely destroyed in their previous 2 games, that's why the odds are so low. I got -12,5 myself, should be ez.

Won a bet, we relaxed again at the end, started shooting 3s from 10m... Keep betting on us. :D

Now Serbia and Italy makes new group with Spain and Puerto Rico. Should be easy going to 1/4 finals for us. And that 1/4 finals should not be a problem cause opponent would be Argentina/Russia/Poland/Venezuela. Clear path to 1/2 finals for Serbia. Unless there is no some huge upset.

I don't understand why Australia is $34 to win the tournament behind 6 teams

for some reason Lithuania and Greece are rated a better chance, did delly get injured or something?

Spain I think can give Serbia a pretty stout challenge in the next group. They have the size to match-up. Offensively, they are a little underpowered but they should be able to defend them.
