thats not correct. He shot well against Germany too. So in the two FIBA games that counted he shot well

Just let the best guys win. Just put together the right combinations of players. Please, Fizdale, please! (I just don't trust this mofo.)

Damn, Knox not gonna a see a second of time over Morris and Iggy and even Dotson then.

Maybe he can ask Frank for sartorial advice

Because Fizdale is a mofo?

You know they played Jordan right? Lol

Whos coaching staff is to blame for Franks poor performance against an actual good team like Germany

Looks like Fizdale.

Seriously though...so you guys don't want anyone to judge him based on how he played against Germany (a team that at least is competitive) but you do want him to be judged playing against arguably one of the worst team in the tournament (Jordan was ranked 49th in the world leading to qualifiers, they play in arguably the least I talented qualifying pool (Africa) where 5 teams have to be selected for the tournament).

The preseason can't come soon enough.

I’m a big frank supporter but some of you are reaching. He had a good game, that’s it. Don’t ruin it by making it more than that. And yes, the competition does matters, so let’s pump our brakes. Excited to see what he does next game. I need the same energy

Basketball is a game of confidence. If it takes a trash team to wake a player up who's weakness is his aggression, I will take baby steps with him. He needs to just build off on this. Then when he plays better teams, he will make mistakes, but I will accept it if he continues to stay aggressive as he showed.

That’s a good point, maybe his confidence can get a boost. I’m with you, let’s hope it continues.

I just want consistency from him, even if it's just consistently being good, not great. Like, he's not dominating teams like Rui Hachimura is, but if he keeps shooting well from 3 (his 2pt shooting is even worse than with us, but at least he's being more assertive and drawing more fouls), that'd make him the perfect complement between RJ and DSJ

He’s the only Knicks currently playing so the attention is on him. Unless you get excited watching Randle and Melo 1 on 1 highlights.

Just like during summer league frank wasn’t a topic because he didn’t play. He is now the focus because he’s the only knick playing and people are starving for hoops.

It really is kinda odd how much Frank is coddled around here. Any other player we'd be ready to all in unison get rid of and cut our losses

i don't need to get rid of him. in fact, i would have let him be the backup point full time this year and not signed payton. because...why not ? you drafted him high, you can't trade him for anything, so give him a shot. i don't expect to see great results but so what, it doesn't hurt anything. but the way people talk about him is crazy. they say he's a needle moving 2 way player, his skill set is as unique as top scorers, there's a group madness going on here.
