Would imagine Giannis and Thanasis

I'd imagine that's who the Greek flag's for. Both born in Greece. Never had Nigerian papers.

I think it’s more a tribute to their heritage, no? https://www.google.com/amp/s/theundefeated.com/features/bucks-giannis-antetokounmpo-greek-freak-wants-to-go-back-to-his-nigerian-roots/amp/

His parents were immigrants & spoke Nigerian at home. Their family is Nigerian through & through. Doesn't matter if they're citizens.

The official language of Nigeria is English. And there are about 500 other languages spoken there.

Pardon my decision to generally refer to the 2 languages they spoke in as Nigerian. It was considered when I replied, but I didn't recall the names for them.

Nonetheless, all of their children are Nigerian & were given separate Nigerian first names within the family.

Veronica spoke Igbo & Charles Yoruban. Igbo was the language & tribe that I recalled but wasn't 100% on.

The timing on this is interesting. We all thought that maybe they rushed to sign him, but maybe that was the plan all along to move him pre-season to a team in need?

I hope we don't move him, but this seems intentional to me.

Yes not a good announcer. But one of the top 5 all time Bucks players.

My namesake looking good. Don Nelson and Del Harris look like a before and after picture, however.

Why would we trade Bledsoe now? 1. His value is low after the playoffs 2. We are very thin in the backcourt. It would have to be a weird PG for PG trade where we get another Middle of the pack starting PG with his own flaws.

Hypothetically if we got another middle of the pack starting PG with his own flaws but with strengths better complementing Giannis, it'd make sense. But for the record I don't think we're trading Bled anytime soon.

I’m not saying we would trade him now, I guarantee they didn’t think he’d play as bad as he did in the playoffs. I was speaking of their thoughts at the time and it was completely hypothetical.

Bled's game is better suited to the regular season, quite the opposite for the playoffs. He'll get his value back up and then you can trade him in Feb.

I have a lingering feeling that the George Hill deal will come back to bite us. Hope I’m wrong.
