That's what everyone does, I'm talking about when we're on O; guys like Steph, Lillard, Kyrie won't be able to guard either of them... yea they might do their thing on offense but Wiggins or Culver are pretty much guaranteed to go off too

Miss matches does not mean anything without efficency, and so far Wiggins has been inefficient and Culver is a total unknown. While I can understand Culver ceiling involves playmaking duties isn't clear he can be a playmaker let alone a primary offensive creator.

So the answer about what they are going to do against us is likely to kick our butts.

Wolves reportedly signed rookie PG Lindell Wigginton. Undrafted Canadian player out of Iowa State. He was on the Raptors‘ Summer League roster. Probably a preseason / training camp acquisition. Will spend time on Iowa Wolves roster...

Wigginton ... seems like a decent enough PG to stash on the back burner in IA. We are not exactly deep at PG. Might need a fresh body late next season.

The more I read about Shabazz Napier, more I like him as backup PG. He is experienced, good defender, willing 3pt shooter, solid playmaker. I should admit that I doubted his abilities but as backup PG he fits well. He is a streaky shooter, but it can be managed

I'm curious to see how Culver will be running the offense. I know he probably won't have too many minutes doing it but if he is good enough the Wolves can have a really big and athletic backcourt.

One thing I do like about Napier's story is the topic of being accountable for his early (limited) NBA success. Coming out of college there were high expectations that he did not live up to, but he chose to move forward & work harder rather than take that egomaniac road and blame everyone around him. Would be great to see him shine in a Wolves uniform like the old days at UCONN and stick around. Coulda been pretty easy for him to have tossed in the towel after getting moved around and looking for a fit.

So a I was a little surprised that someone in another topic said he didn't want Teague resigned. At all.
I think our best way forward is to resign him, obviously only for a reasonable price. For me that would be somewhere around 20/2. What do you guys think? Let him walk (but then what?), or resign (and then at what max price?)?

There are many factors in play:

0) trade opportunities, Teague main value now is his expiring contract.
1) point Wiggins and point Culver development this season. If both succeed we will need another type of PG next to them. Either defender such as Pat Beverly, or 3pt specialist
2) I believe that fair price for Teague is average contract for backup PG. But if we resign Napier for vetmin, I believe it will be enough for backup PG
