Greg oden. Now I know I'm gonna get hit with "well he was injured", but still. Nonetheless he was projected to be Bill Russell, and instead was in the league for a cup of coffee.

Dragan Bender. A complete waste of one of the GOAT names in league history.

Yeah, Fultz was considered a relative sure thing. Perhaps not the super-high upside of other #1 overall picks but a higher floor then the other guys at the top of the draft.

Oden was born with one leg shorter than the other. He was never going to last in the NBA. Weird how Portland's medical staff didn't catch that.

Darko. Every scout considered him the consensus #2 pick and nobody thought the Pistons were crazy for not even considering Carmelo at the #2 pick. I figured he'd have at least a steady/productive career at worst.

Joe Smith. Looked great at Maryland and his rookie NBA year but it was all downhill from there. Ended up a career journeyman.

Glenn Robinson was a surprise bust/disappointment. I know it's strange to say that of a 2 time all-star, but consider that he was basically the consensus #1 overall pick in a draft with Kidd and Grant Hill taken after him. He had some good years with the Bucks, but he ended up being a journeyman by the time he hit his late 20s. That's a big disappointment considering his draft hype what people expected of him.

Pervis Ellison was another consensus #1 overall pick after a great career at Louisville. Sac traded him away after his rookie year. He looked like he revived his career with the Bullets with 2 really good seasons there, but I think he had Brandon Roy type knees and he became a journeyman. Played a lot as an undersized C back in the day. In today's game, he wouldn't be all that undersized at C.

Stacey King. Same draft as Ellison. Guy was 6'11" and went for 26 and 10 his senior year at Oklahoma. #6 overall pick going to a team with Jordan/Pippen on it and that was in need of a good bigman. I thought that was the perfect situation for him. Best year was when he went for 9 and 6 his rookie season. He was pretty much a replacement level player/journeyman his entire career.
Brian Geltzeiler: You see Mark Jackson getting a head coaching job as early as next year?

Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.

This was it for me because unlike the Derrick Williams and Joe Alexander of the world, Evan actually knows how to play. Doug Collins, an awful human being, tried so hard to ruin his career.
