I’m just gonna lower my expectations, if he can do what Kwame did for us, I’m cool.

He definitely lost a lot of weight. Wonder if that will help or hurt him.

  I meant play great one on one defense, pass, run the floor, step up in games when needed, and stay in shape. I would gladly take a Dwight if he wanted to play that role of body the best big, do the dirty work, limit his offensive touches, but show up offensively when needed

He lakcs Karls IQ overall though

Help. Howard is big enough and athletic enough not to get dominated by any C in the NBA one-on-one besides maybe Embiid and Jokic.

He’s ripped. Not an ounce of fat. That is a great thing to see at his age. Wise, in fact.

Remember fat Shaq on the Celtics? Trying the opposite is probably a very good idea. Being lean but ripped instead of heavy and thick increases longevity of any career, reduces risk of injury. Tendons dry up with age. See Kobe.

This lean version of DH should increase his foot quickness and mobility on defense. Easier to keep up laterally on D, jump high for lobs if he’s not fat. To run the break with Bron and AD? Even Howard can manage that role.

I think he’ll be our second stringer C.

That’s an insult if I ever heard one. :)

The Laker envy is real over there in Clipper land. I saw a thread that said "LeBron grudge..." from the main page so I clicked on it . .. and one of them has posted a video about how singing Howard over Noah was a mistake.

Too funny . . . they really do talk about the Lakers over there.

Clipper fans lol. Give a kid an inch, he'll take a mile. Give a kid a candy, next thing u know, he wants a beer. Theyre trash talking is all mouth. But they dont truly believe it. A couple losses amd theyll go back to booing their own team again.

Have loved watching this man in the playoffs. Love the redemption story with the Lakers.

Not sure how he now sits with Laker fans, has he been forgiven?

Well, for me, he's none of the things I hated him for in the past run... Entitled, lazy, ineffective, superior...
And he's basically side-show bob at this point... Not our second guy... So I'm cool with him. I hope he comes back next year, and is in as good shape as he is this year...

I voted and supported his arrival,, cause we needed more interior power.. And He's paying off with this series. Imagine Facing Joker without Dwight. Things would be tougher. We need some physicality, and hes bringing that.

I love Dwights energy and mindset. Making Joker chase after him setting and re-setting those high screens is crucial. He had him sucking air hard there for a minute in game 2.

Dwight has to run him ragged so Joker has nothing left in the tank for anymore 4th quarter heroics.

Dwight is a goddamn champ. He's humble and plays hard. This is the nr.1 NBA redemption story in a long long time.

Let's cap it off and get the man a ring.

This series is where he's earned his pay. And should we go the next round, we are going to punish either of those teams on the interior. I can see it in Dwight and Rondos eyes. These are Older Men who know this is their last opportunity for a Championship. Last Rodeo. Rondo, because he's tired of living off of that last 1 over a decade ago. And Dwight, cause he don't want to be a Charles Barkley.
