He needs more strength but like Garnett, Siakam & Durant done it.
If you want him to be a strong, athletic C, he was drafted way too high. You can draft those types every year late in the 1st. round or 2nd round.
Mo needs mass because he is a C only. He doesnt have the speed to defend on the perimeter.

Siakam is 20 pounds heavier than Isaac. Garnet played 20-30 lbs heavier than ISaac. Durant is 20-30 lbs heavier than Isaac.

1. I'm pretty sure you know what i wanna say. All are pretty skinny for there height. Isaac got the same bodytype.
2. Isaac said he is 235 now. Durant is 240, Siakam is 230. Garnett weighed more in his later years, but unlike Isaac, he was playing much more in the post, on defense & offense.

yes, he doesnt need to be musclebound. I think AG put on too much muscle and its messing with him. But the reason people wand Isaac to put on mass is because he needed it, if not for the strength than just to protect himself. So yes, if he is 235 now, that is fine. We dont need nor want him to be 270

Doesn't matter, Isaac put in a ton more cardio in the last 8 months than Mo. Bamba was barely moving for a while and just eating and maybe doing upper body workouts.

Lunch: Steak with pasta and mushrooms
Snack: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich
First Dinner: Two pieces of chicken, rice and plantains
Snack: Another peanut butter and jelly sandwich
Second Dinner: another plate of chicken, rice and plantains

I thought Bamba in interviews talked like he was somewhere up there with calories too. He looks pretty much the same. Isaac looks like he filled out a little bit more, might’ve grown a bit too which would make it tough to notice weight anyway.

When are we ever going to get his measurements? It seems like the rest of the league has already done it.

The implication from the article was that the Magic did official heights and weights on Friday of last week.

So we should hear something at some point before Wednesday's game.

Not sure what you guys are seeing -- I sat right behind the Magic bench last night and JI's body looked VERY different than last year. His shoulders, in particular, were larger and more fully defined and his upper arms in particular seemed both more defined and just bigger. He also seemed to have a more solid base. He is still a tall, skinny dude -- yeah. But he looked much stronger to me.

I remember not recognizing him at first when I was watching the USA vs USA Select team this summer. Once the camera zoomed in I was like oh damn that's JI.

I said I thought Isaac filled out more. I just didn’t think Bamba looked any different.

I was right behind you - row 7 section 107! And he is super skinny -- just a little thicker than last year imo. :D

"arm size" isn't really that important for basketball. Most important are legs, back and core. That's what helps you from getting pushed around, s nice strong base

The thing with JI is also the attitude. Bamba would be the best rim protector in history with JIs attitude. Isaac has great physical tools but it means nothing if you don't put everything you've got into the game.

Jonathan Isaac is...

1st in the NBA in blocks
9th in the NBA in steals
1st in the NBA in stocks (steals + blocks combined)
7th in the NBA in deflections
6th in the NBA in shots contested (non-centers)
