Mitchell is pressing a little. He rushed his last 3-pt attempts.

Aside from horrible shooting from hot potato shotclock running out situations, I've loved what I've seen from Mitchell offensively and he looks like the best defender on that team and is reminding us why pre-draft he was considered the best point of attack defender in his class and why it was his defense that he was drafted for rather than his offense.

He is a hot potato magnet and certainly not bashful in those situations

Giannis will get slack, but the rest of the Greek team is just bottocks...

Calathes 0/2, 1 ast in 13 min
Printezis 1/5, -7
Sloukas 2/6 -12
Papapetrou 3/9
Bourousis 0/4

With Conley around to take some of the scoring burden maybe.

That's the hope. It was impossible to put that much energy into defense when the second option is a mix between Rubio/Ingles. With Conley and Bojan, hopefully he has more energy to spare on defense.

With Bojan next to him, he can't afford not to!

The Greeks need to hit some outside shots to loosen up the USA D. Otherwise the paint will stay swarmed and they'll get killed in semi transition.

The Czech Republic was extremely impressive earlier today. That was an amazing team performance and a wire-to-wire win. Good for them, they now have significant chances to advance to the quarters.

On the other match of the group, USA has a significant lead against us. USA's defense has been very good so far and, in general, it looks like the scare against Turkey helped the American team. They look more focused on the game at hand and I didn't see anyone going off script and trying to iso. We need to make 3 point shots. We can't hope to keep this game close by shooting 4/17 from 3. Our defense has been alright so far but our offense has been pitiful. We need more, especially out of players like Bourousis and Calathes. They're supposed to be the leaders of this team, they can't combine for 1 whole point throughout the half.

France is looking pretty good...but foul trouble is catching up to them. It's a chippy game. If Gobert can get in for a good 8 minute stretch to close they should win this one.

Calathes and Bourousis are (once again) the main issues. Sloukas, Printezis and Papapetrou are at least trying.

USA could play through Turner more. He'll score in the post and draw double teams.

Bojan isn't a liability defensively. He did a pretty fine job for us on that end.

It's a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy. He doesn't shy away(i.e. he seeks them) and they find him.

I wonder ifUtah fans realize that Bogdan is better on D than Ingles.

I get it that Ingles is fans' favourite, but I think you'll like Bogdan even more.

Bojan. Bogdan is on the Kings.

I like him and I don't think he's horrible on D. I'm just not certain he's a clear +. I don't really worry much about it though. I love the theoretical fit of him and Conley with the rest of our roster and especially with Mitchell and Gobert.

Giannis is becoming really frustrated. His teammates are just not good.

He was for Brooklyn.
