If Notre Dame would lose tonight so we don't have to hear any playoff talk about them for the rest of the year, that would be great.

You'd have to wait for about 3 more losses on top of one to Louisville before that quieted down.

Interesting to see Marland beating a ranked team 35 to 13 2nd quarter.

Was really hoping it would be an undefeated match-up for Michigan in a couple weeks as I'm going to get to be there. They are on the ropes against Army, though.

I'm so torn.

A Michigan loss is bad for the Big 10, but also Go Army.

South Florida narrowly lost(by 4) on the road against Ga Tech. So beating them 49-0 in their house looks a little better in retrospect. More impressive for offense since South Florida only allowed 14 points this game, which is what they put up against #1 Clemson. Of course the UW did pitched in a few to's.

Colorado/Nebraska ending is quite good. Nebraska just lost in OT after being taken out of FG range and their kicker whiffing one from 48. Nebraska had been up 17-0 at half; lost 34-31.

ETA: Apparently their K didn't travel. The P tried the game-tying kick. Weird.

Husker fans were getting too cocky lately. They need this to knock them down a notch.

Texas has failed twice at 4th and goal inside the 1. One was a QB sweep that had no chance of doing anything, the other had a wide open RB who dropped the ball.

I don't get these smaller schools that don't go for 2 in OT. Lousiana-Monroe just missed the tying PAT in OT against Florida State. If you make it, you win and everyone is thrilled. If you don't and lose, nobody is calling for your head, they're just happy they were able to take a Power 5 school to OT.

It never should have gotten to that. They were two or three yards from picking up the 1st with a couple minutes to go inside the FSU 20. Should have gone for the win instead of taking the three to tie.
