63 to 20 over Syracuse - did anyone see that coming? So MD's scored in their first 2 games as many points as the Skins will score in the first half of their season.

Mike Locksley is not a good head coach.

He is a great recruiter.

Predictable playcalling and the failure to utilize all the running backs, not just MacFarland, cost the Terps.

This loss was a total buzz killer.

One loss against a very solid Temple team, and you're already writing off Locksley as a head coach? I think they lost mainly because MD's QB had a really bad game, and Temples' QB had a really good game.

I agree that the loss was a buzzkill. But let's take a step back. We were within the one yard line twice. We get one touchdown on either drives and we win the game. We had another chance at the end of the game after the great punt return. The loss, while painful, was a fluke game. Need to give Locksley a genuine chance to build a program.

It still bugs me that Terp nation - for the most part - turned on Fridge. Kudos to Locksley for building back the tie to Fridge.

Hard to disagree with CCJ but I don't see where he says anything about writing off Locksley as a head coach. To hand the ball off four times to a talented but smallish back near the goal line wasn't very smart. I just think he lost confidence as did OC Scottie Montgomery, in Josh Jackson.

Another way to look it is the offensive line stunk. They lost right guard Davis and he's out 4-6 weeks. But they got mauled on both lines of scrimmage. Get back against Penn State and compete hard and the fans will have your respect.

As I've said in the past, I went to school with Mike back at Towson so I'm going to pull for him even more. But as a head football coach, if your team is not prepared mentally (they showed zero emotion in the first half) and you and the staff are not making adjustments, it's on you.
