Omg - what kind of human scum beats up an 84 year old woman for casino money - like how much could the lady possibly have had on her? A grand or two, and it’s probably not even that much - probably a few hundred. Goodness gracious that’s awful.

If working at a prison taught me one thing, it's that you should save your hatred and outrage. There's about a 98% chance that those women went through a world of hurt leading up to them doing something like that. Another person at the end of a long line of violence keeping the cycle going. Not an excuse (obviously) and they'll get hit hard in the courts, but not many people do something awful and unconscionable like that without some serious backstories getting them there, my guess is the more you knew about their lives the more you'd just feel sad (and grateful about your own life).

to anyone that knows a bit about law, would it be considered circumstantial evidence if they had footage of these two women going into the bathroom, followed by the victim, then them leaving and the body found when the next person went in? because there was never any video evidence of the violence itself...

i guess what i'm asking is if that would be enough to sentence them guilty or would they need to find DNA evidence, etc. pointing to the two women committing the crime.

Not sure. unless there was a huge time gap, I think they'll be found guilty.

That’s just strange, it has no business being discussed or brought up to Leonard.

His job is to play basketball, how is it fair or in any way ethical to bring up that subject if you’re a beat writer for the team?

This information is really unhelpful to the general public, there was no need for anyone to know the person involved was related to him, how is that in any way relevant? I’m not a fan of punishing the family when someone does something like this unless they’re involved which he clearly isn’t

Simone Biles brother was arrested for murder just last week, when your a public figure of huge notoriety anything you or your immediate family does is front page news, where have u been the last 25yrs were u born last night?
The fact they dont wont to allow bail because she has a wealthy sibling is also part of the story making her a possible flight risk if he bonded her out.
few months ago the college admissions scandal only became a scandal because the lady off Full House kids were involved , all the children of non celebrities didnt have to endure half the media scrutiny or papparazzi and thus went about their day.
