Overrated team as hell. As soon as they got good defensive team they fell apart. Only Bogdanovic and Jokic are star material and the second one got frustrated by spanish tight defense.

I expect Serbia to get even more exposed and killed against USA Team E.

Djordjevic's defeat, Scariolo destroyed him

and I thought that he was just having fun in games against Philippines and Angola with Jokic as PF, but he was dead serious apparently

Jokic play terrible on this tour, much worse than Giannis but results were good so no one talked about that, he was riding coattails of Bogdanovic's and B. Jelica's performances and first time when they needed him he shrinked under pressure.

Argentina - Serbia

Spain - Poland

US - (loser of) France/Australia

(winner of) France/Australia - (winner of) Czech/Greece
(Greece needs to win by 12 points head-to-head against Czech to advance assuming Brazil doesn't upset US)

Where are all the guys saying here they were "the best team ever"?
Be humble...

We are here don't worry.

Well done Spain for the win, fully deserved. Djordjevic's linup with Jokic, Bjelica and Boban was distaster. When we adjusted to small ball we made a run but it was too late.

I think that knowing that we can lose and not going to be eliminated affected a game a bit.

So now, onto harder road. Argentina and USA be aware of us! :D

Untill it was man to mn defence we led by 9 points. They really suprised us with 1-3-1 zone. I though that zone died. :D

Fun fact: Gudurić is being paid for playing basketball.

Also, Bjelica with probably worst game of his life.

Not sad at all. Would be if we were eliminated. This lose can be good so the players get their **** together into more important games then this one.

This was a huge win for Spain's golden generation. If they could make it past Argentina they are pretty much locked in to be one of the 1st two European teams to make it through to the Olympics.

Is this FIBA website the worst thing to ever happen to the internet? Good grief is it a chore navigating to get a f***ing score update for a tournament that happens once every 4 years. :banghead:

Serbia made 3 threes only. I don't think I've ever seen this from a Yugoslav or former Yugoslav side in 30+ years of watching basketball.

Guduric is apparently an NBA player. All i saw from him this game was a missed uncontested shot under the basket where he didn't even hit the rim. Bjelica looked washed. He's too slow for FIBA, couldn't beat his man if his life depended on it. And he needs to be wide open to be a threat from three, it's too easy to close him down.

I'll be scared if Bogdan has a bad game.

I didn´t see this coming, as a Spaniard. Very nice defence and an almost perfect first half gave them the game. Serbia was probably overrated but yet Spain had some luck with all those turnovers from the former, Jokic out, etc. Great defence and hustle though, not to mention Scariolo being great at rotations. Never expected this team to deliver, but Spain getting better as the tournament progresses is just a classic and must confess now I am rather interested to see how this unfolds.

Also Claver MVP LOL.

Even there, sometimes during the game box score doesn't work.
