Steve Mills is talking all this black dude stuff with me, like we’re brothers and all this. He’s saying that s–t, making me think it’s going to make us closer. Come on, be yourself.

I loved New York. We were losing but I felt I was playing great. I felt like they still could have built something — or attempted to. They got rid of me but I definitely wanted to stay there.

I like this article cause it ****s on Phil and confirms the truth about how bad he was. But the fake news Phil fans will find a way to spin this.

It also confirms that Mills is a fake corporate dude and many people can see through that. Makes sense how he’s survived this long with the owner.

Some people will be disproportionately impressed by his dunks as he adjusts to the NBA, so the talk will be Zion >>> RJ.

RJ has a kind of low flash, low wiggle game that'll have a subset of fans turn on him quickly, especially if his jumper isn't going on early, which is probably the case. On the positive, RJ's style of driving has a lot to do with euro steps and absorbing and finishing though contact, so he may be able to do that right away, or, there could be some Knoxian struggles where he gets bumped off his comfort spot just enough to just miss some shots he used to make.

I think RJ will be a very good player. It'll be interesting to see the reactions if he isn't one by midseason.

Gentry should let him play the Draymond/ role until he gets a jumpshot.
I've said it many times before that this is what separates the two. Zion has to develop something other than just dunks otherwise he just becomes a stronger Derrick Williams. RJ, to me, has a pull up game, other ways to get to the hoop other than just straight line, and he passes like a point guard. The kid is going to be nice and I felt this way about them throughout their whole season at Duke. Zion is all for entertainment, I don't see a Lebron/Kobe type of player in him. I don't see a #1 style player that you would expect to lead a team to a championship.

Derrick Rose is a clown. He bounced on his team.
I don’t forgive him for that. His excuse is lame.
Then to call out Mills for his “Blackness” without substantiating it just speaks to his inarticulate, immature and tired train of thought.

Superteam. HIS words.

I get that Mills is Dolan's man and screwed up a bunch of things. But it seems - and I hope this is true - that he's playing a different role now. Perry is the real GM of the team, and doing all the stuff a GM should do. Mills is doing the non-player stuff and providing a buffer to Dolan. In this role, Mills is ok. It if he tries to go beyond this role or if he fails to keep Dolan at a distance that the team will have a problem.

I was messing around with my league pass subscription and decided to watch the first game of last season. started with fizdale talking about how awesome we were going to be and how we are here to win (17 games I guess) and the starting lineup was Burke THJ Frank LFT and Kanter, Frank is the only one who is even still on the team and he's only hanging on by a thread. I wonder if any other team in the NBA rolled over their entire starting lineup from opening night of the prior season

If only we'd had some of those all-stars we traded away in the past ten years... lets, see, I'm thinking we could have made the playoffs if we'd kept Andy Rautins, or Jerome Jordan. Or what about Dan Gadzuric? No wonder we only won 17.

Any thoughts on the knicks 2K starting lineup?

DSJR
Trier
RJ
Randle
Mitch

Trier is not in any of my actual starting lineups. I’d much prefer him on the bench going after the 6MOY

He stays acting like he’s the victim. Calling Oklahoma fake like he wasn’t trashing the whole organization on his burner accounts. Straight up lying to Westbrook’s face telling him he was gonna resign. And then he wanna act like he’s different from all of golden state. Yeah Ight, he loves making up excuses. Glad he’s in Brooklyn, perfect for their “culture”

Yeah I agree then. He did Westbrook dirty. You dont look someone in the eyes and say you going to stay and then do the exact opposite a few days later. He couldn’t even call Westbrook either. Sent him a text. Thats some true fuccboi ****

OKC had every right to give him that treatment

durant is in for a rude awakening.

first, he's not going to be the same player. the combination of coming back from a dangerous injury and him being on the tail end of his prime isn't the perfect recipe.

second, durant has to realized this one thing. nobody will ever give a **** about the new jersey nets.
LOL Y U MAD THO?
