Actually, he is. You just named 3 of the best defensive players ever.
Right, except those players were all significantly better than Smart (to date), when the offensive side of the floor is considered.
If the bar for bashing Smart has elevated to the point where he is being compared to first ballot HOFers, I think we are done here.
P.S. Scope some shooting stats for Kidd, and stats for 3-pointers and assists for DJ and Payton as well.

So now its France Wednesday and winner of Argentina/Serbia Friday (assuming we advance). Serbia is thought by some to be the favorite to win the whole thing.
Yep, with Brown deliverng consistently and Tatum likely back, they ought to be able to close the tournament out without really needed Smart too too much - and Smart needs to sit if that injury is back.

I can't think of another example who was listed as a guard. The guys who come to mind are all bigger and generally thought of as forwards, eg. Rodman and Lebron.
Pippen wasn't officially listed as a guard, but often should have been. Could guard 1-4 as well.

Man, Jazz fans kill me. Every single year they try to tear into other players as a means of propping up their own [see Devin Booker and Ben Simmons the past two years].
Some are trying to do that again on the GB, calling out all the other players on the team for looking for their own shot while praising the guy with the second most shots for not doing so. Cant stand the utter hypocrisy.

Not only that, they seem to completely forget that Mitchell is shooting around .400 from the field for his career. I don't understand when did he become the new LBJ or Mike?
Good assessment:
PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

Of course. Indeed, he played plenty of PG in the NBA and Olympics alike. My point was literally about size, and I was using perception of position as a proxy for that.

France will be the hardest test so far.
Australia, USA, Serbia,Spain are the top 5 imo. Outside chance Argentina or Italy cracks top 5.

The Undefeated so far, are Australia, USA, Spain, and Argentina.
Serbia's gotta be the next best.

Thank you again. This is much better.
How are those Youtube Live feeds?
Sorry, haven't been on here in a while, but they are flawless for me.
