The Lebron of FIBA basketball has arrived.

"Facundo Campazzo is the first player to combine 15+ points, 10+ assists, 5+ rebounds and 3+ steals in a FIBA World Cup game since Toni Kukoc with Croatia against Canada in 1994"

I dont understand comments here. Overhyped? Overrated. This team played finals of Olympic games, finals of Euro, finals of World cup.

We lost, Argentina dominated. Its sport, move on.

LoL. yeah, saying that this team could beat USA or that this team is the best european team ever... lol, i call this overhype, and overrate. Just look and the pool of this topic. All the serbs voting like crazy. Many post saying they were to destroy all the other national teams. I haven t seen such arrogance by nationals fans on this forum ever.

Heck they are not even the best european team in this tournament i would take Spain, they are still miles over them as we saw when they faced each other.

This team played finals of:

World Cup
Olympic
Euro

It's preatyy much the same players who played that 3 competition and by common logic we were bigest threat to USA before this cup. Should I draw you in paint or something so you can understand or?

Funny how perception changes when you're no longer playing the Philippines or Angola...

But it was the most overhyped European team ever. That has to be worth something, right?

No way you believe that lol... Serbs aren't going to "move on" from this for a long long time. There's no way Djordjevic survives with his job, half the association will probably be changed. Djordjevic seems like the guy that can get the max out of his players when the stars are missing and having them buy into a team concept, but he can't coach a loaded team. Kinda feels like Brad Stevens in the NBA.

Serbia played great basketball when guys like Bjelica and Jokič were missing... But now these guys tried too much iso and didnt' trust their teammates.

I will admit that Serbia destroying the weak competition so far didn't help them at all. It's best to lose some games in the friendlies or group stage so that the team can make adjustments and move on. Now they seemed shell shocked by Spain and how they played, and today it felt from the start that Argentina sensed blood in the water.

So yeah huge upset, Serbia should have easily beaten this Argentina team.

To be clear; jokic and bogdan are still really excellent players, but this is another lesson in not listening to the media or even posters sometimes without watching the games for yourself. Watch the games, evaluate the teams overall talent and coaching, rinse and repeat when wrong. There was always this crazy narrative that Serbia was this behemoth with crazy talent... where? Boban is not some great center, and they have zero talent at the guard positions. France Australia and Spain were always superior in my mind.

Lol I was expecting a low Polish voice and instead got American chipmunk.

Whatever he’s saying is working though. This is the best Polish nat-bb team ever, I think.

I don't know why nobody giving Argentina a credit, they played great game. Bogdan said in interview at the end the best quote ,,they played team game, that's why they won,, and it's true. Argentina didn't lost 1 game at tournument and they are in semi finals, they for sure deserve some credit.

Indeed. They were fast, crafty and running a hell of a lot of fast cuts off the ball. Nightmare for Serbia’s big men to defend.

This Argentina squad(minus Scola) lost at home against a bunch of G leaguers. JVG is a great coach but still...

The matter is WE couldn't know teams were goods or not After first round. Who did they defeat? Nigeria, Venezuela, South Korea, a weak Russia, and a surprising Poland.
For Serbia, one loss against a serious Spain.
So no one gave credits to Argentina, because 5 previous games could not show us the real level of both teams
