For online players this has been the most botched launch in Franchise history. MyCareer is full of major bugs and 2K has done nothing about it so far. For 3 days I was not been able to get any MyPoints on my build or any badge upgrades. Didn't matter what I was doing nothing was working. This is a major problem a lot of people are facing. Finally found the solution thanks to someone on a message board no thanks to 2K. If you are a MyCareer/Park player and haven't picked the game up yet, wait it out until these bugs are fixed.

2K20 is the best basketball game experience you can get. There are things to fix but overall it’s tough not to enjoy to play. Gameplay is awesome and feels more and more like reality year after year.

On a side note, if the Knicks suck as much in reality as they suck in this game, they ain’t winning 20 games. We are constructed with bad shooters, bad rebounders. RJ Barrett is slow as hell. Randle can’t rebound and is below average at scoring. Our starting unit is ****.
Bobby Portis our best big.
Can’t even play with Ntilikina who’s out of the rotation, I had Coach start Smith at PG then use Ellington, Trier as backup PGs, and then Payton in garbage time.

Yeah, there is literally no way to use frank or brazdeikis unless you customize the roster or something. I don't know why they made it so difficult to use players who are actually on the team. Yet, Bullock plays big minutes when his neck is broken. The automatic rotations are really messed up for the Knicks.

This guy tries to do a knicks rebuild on 2K20 via simulation. He has a 4 year plan. Its funny to see him experience some of the highs and lows a lot of knicks fans have gone through.

Spoiler:
He doesn’t win the championship but makes some good Knick teams. His biggest mistake imo was not resigning Paul George & Blake griffin after year 3.Rj and Knox progress pretty well all the way until the end

Worst 2k game ever. It just feels like dlc version of 2k19.

Huge dissapointment. We need another basketball franchise to challenge 2k because they're just putting out garbage.

The key to not being super disappointment is to realize 2K20 is really just buying the rookie class.
It’s the same game for 10 years plus, like other video games that come out with yearly installments.

I’m playing it on mobile, it’s enjoyable on my tablet.
Rj is an 82 which is mad respect. With an 82 3pt but form a little clunky.
Walker is an 83 overall
Zach LaVine a 79 overall.
For context.

The ratings are a bit more nerfed on mobile, kind of Madden-esque imo.

If you would play online games then you would know that this isnt true at all. Gameplay is different

For real? I got online once but didn’t like the automatic rotations. Weird that they would have 2 different rosters. Gonna check it out though.

It’s a good game on the gameplay it self. But 2k always sucks ass at everything else. Always a bunch of glitches that hurt the overall game. Don’t play my career but they say it’s a glitchy mess. The mode me and my crew like to play Myleague online, has a the same glitches for the past 5-6 years lol.

Should spend less money on idris Elba and more in testing the damn game

You got to give a about a month after launch to really nail down the mechanics.
It will be clunky, all these games are rushed out yearly.
Some games go years in development and usually experience the same kind tech issues

Oh you were talking about gameplay , I thought you were talking about rosters.
Haven’t played this on platform but usually the biggest difference in gameplay to me is camera view, either side view or from the top.

Controls are usually customizable, so there’s only so much reinventing I think 2k can do.
At the heart of the game you have the directional stick, shoot, pass, and the modifiers .
They can change button layout but the premise to me is still the same.

This game would be pretty decent, but it has few inept things that makes you wonder what the hell were they thinking. Like I never seen open layup or floater to miss, I know open lay up is ''automatic'' shot, but misses still happen, you jsut do not program any shot to be 100% success rate, that just basic common sense. Floaters even if you guard them are hitting on incredibly high rate and if you do not guard them its another 100% success shot, like how stupid can you be at programming a basketball game? Or is it too expensive to create a missed shot animation or ball physic or smth, how much you made from microtransactions again?
