as he is talking to the media in the off season with headline statements like that..... NYC media is very cynical and I hope avoids the negative and enjoys his choices and life from here on

Durant never stops whining and complaining. I understand where he's coming from... but my god. The dude has the biggest victim complex I've ever seen.

The media has given Durant kid-glove treatment for his entire career, even after he made the weakest free agency decision in sports history. Just imagine if he ever got a fraction of the criticism that LeBron and Russ get every day.

I'd taste test dog food for a living and smile all day if they paid me what this jerk KD makes.

I'm confused by this comment; I mean it's pretty obvious that he does get a lot of criticism, because, if he didn't, then comments like this wouldn't exist. I don't know about you but I see KD hate all over the place.

...and many days I hate the jackass that you are. I miss the days of the real NBA (80s and 90s) when players just played.

He’s constantly doing interviews and looking for ways to be more relevant and exposed than LeBron but yet he hates the media? He wants nothing to do with the media but moves to the media capital of the world while having his own show and entertainment company? Also as soon as an article comes out like this and he comes off as his true arrogant self he wines that they constantly misquoted him or they didn’t tell the full story or it was out of context, nothing is ever KDs fault.
After 3 teams and a slew of ex-teammates that want nothing to do with you, organization that want nothing to do with you and fans that want nothing to do with you, that maybe, just maybe it’s you KD?
As a Pre-Madonna with an extreme case of narcissism, it’s fitting that Kyrie would be his best friend, maybe they can sail the open seas of this beautiful flat earth right off the edge into oblivion like a new age Thelma and Louise.
You think having ones own show is the same as answering question from the media? lol

He gets criticism because he's soft. He will never get his respect back, and this bothers him. He made a decision that most of the NBA fan base thought was weak. Now he's enjoyed the life of a champ, and thinks the world should continue to kiss his ass. He created this mess, but now wants to play the victim. Weak ass mentally.

Re: Kevin Durant: Some Days I Hate The Circus Of The NBA
KD has a screw loose. Most superstar players thank their former team and fans and move on. I can understand him not liking journalists with an agenda to write something negative about him, but it sounds like he brings it upon himself. If he can't control it, then we're likely to see more negative comments and stories made public.
KD seems too egotistical in his comments with the Warriors players not being accepted. I'm sure he was considered a VIP with the team and other players tried to talk with him and make him feel accepted. I think Stephen Curry took a lesser role, so that he could become the top scorer. Instead of being grateful, he made some comments that weren't totally negative, but did make him sound like a bitch. Then the stuff he said about OKC just blew my mind. Why such negative comments about their city when it's 3 years later? Finally, I just read a fan's interaction with him on social media:
Me: Did LeBron have any influence on your moves?
KD: **** no lol what Bron gotta do with me
Me: There’s a lot of parallels between y’all my man, him joining Miami to form the big 3, vs you joining GSW to form a big 4 even in that WSJ piece you mentioned that you even thought about returning to OKC but you didn’t like how you were received by fans & all, which is similar to what Bron did doing back to Cleveland, so I thought if you were influenced ever by his moves.
KD: Look. Ima let u know this, I’m in search of experiencing everything as an nba player, I’m in search of becoming the flawless as a basketball player. I don’t care what jersey I have on, I want those things before I retire so if it’s not in one place then I’m gonna try in another spot. But each stop I learn more and take it to the next. It’s called evolution. Bron has nothing to do with that.
He'll end up being media fodder.
