Just finished season 3 of Eastbound & Down. Incredibly **** stupid, but man, I'm finding myself laughing out loud.

First season is absolute gold. The rest as you said gets really dumb but man is it still funny and entertaining.

If you like that, I just watched the first few episodes of his new show Righteous Gemstones on HBO. Again, so far generally stupid/outlandish yet I can't help but like it. Premise is it's based on the family of a Mega Church Minister and his family. Greed, corruption, etc. John Goodman as the dad, Mcbride and Adam Devine as his kids.

Apologize if it has been discussed, but Who Murdered Garrett Phillips on HBO was a great 2 (lengthy) episode murder documentary. Highly recommended.

Spoiler:
Do you think he did it? I don't, I'm just wondering what you thought. Pretty sure it was that deputy dude.

Spoiler:
I agree with you, 100% was John Jones the ex-deputy who was friends with the police. There is almost no doubt in my mind. All of the evidence points directly to him and the way it unfolded was the most obvious police set up ever. I was incredibly relieved to see Hillary get the "not guilty" verdict as 99/100 times they are found guilty. And he was a boss asking for the judge to decide with no jury. Ballsy but he knew he didn't do it.

Does anybody watch The Duece? Just noticed it is starting it's third season, wondering if I should check it out.

I like it. The third seasons will be the final season.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

If anyone stopped Succession after season one or didn't finish season one, go back to it immediately. I finished season one on a 'meh' to the point where I enjoyed it but wasn't chomping at the bit for season 2, I just binge caught up season 2 over the weekend and it is fantastic.

Yea this show hit its stride end of season 1 and is now legit really good.

One thing that gets me other people might not notice is the background music is really good.

It is excellent, while also an incredible look into education in 2019. A lot of it that may seem satirical and over the top, but is actually how the system works in a lot of places.

Yes. I like it. Not Simon's best work but it's pretty darn good.

The episode where Ashley Schaefer turns Stevie into a giesha and Kenny has to rescue him from the plantation is one of the funniest half hours in television history.

Just started on The Good Place season 3. Always impressed by the show's ability to reinvent itself.

Almost finished with s2 of Mindhunters. I really like it. Fringe is my favorite show of all time (my daughter is named Olivia after Anna Torv's Olivia Dunham) and between Torv, Cerveris and the 4 or 5 other Fringe alum that have popped up on MH, I've been pretty happy.
