in a perfect world this what fizdale puts out every night

robinson / portis
randle / morris
knox / iggy
rj / trier
dsj / frank

but this won't happen, frank isn't destined to develop as a knick.

As I said before Frank is becoming a 3&D guy right in front of our very eyes...

Man, I can't wait to see him and Money Mitch on the floor for extended periods of time this year...

What if this is Frank's pinnacle performance and he never has this level of rep or value again?

Just a thought....... *ducks*

I still don’t think they should give up on him without atleast playing this season to see how He fits in with our current core

I just watched that last three (0:50 mark) by Frank 10 times to be sure I was seeing what I thought I saw.

That pump fake and side dribble into a strong jump with full extension shot over the outreached hands was not something he ever did before. Faced with that pressure in the past he would look for someone to give the ball to. But he shaked and baked. He's changing. For the better.

To be honest, I was meh on that. I like how he adjusted from being uncomfortable to comfortable, but that PnR three had me :o

He's more than a 3/D player. C'mon, now...

lets get him something to build on first. Establish himself as a 3/D then branch out more with his other skills. Get that foundation laid.

Kinda what I hoped shump would do. But he wanted to be Jr Smith 2.0 and cross cats up when that wasn’t his game

Exactly. Frank is not even a 3/D player yet. He has to establish a consistent jump shot. If he does that, he'll have all the opportunity in the world to improve his other skills. Many coaches just do not think he's playable due to his lack of creating and shotmaking. It's not "if" he can improve. We all think he can. The question is whether he can mentally wrap his head around what teams need from him on the offensive end. He has shown a complete unwillingness to shoot at time. I hope this leads to confidence that he can keep building upon heading into camp.

Frank has potential but he's missing the 3 right now. He better stay hungry and fight for his spot. I think we need him next to Barrett and Mitch and Randle.

Confidence is all Frank needed. He has the toolkit, but until now didn't truely believe in his abilities. It's good that he's breaking out of his shell and showing us the potential many of us have been drooling over.

Is there something significant to the fact that the Knick's player who is in effect an afterthought in the scheme of things organizationally just lead their foreign country team to a victory over the US team in international world cup knock em out round play......... or not?

Like i said before about frank he played well and he didn't embarrass himself . Lets not overreact over 1 game because some you guys acting like all of sudden he is going change his ways, i am taking the wait and see approach because i don't have any expectation for frank.
