Sucks for him and them because there is no way they can replace his potential production. Clippers likely go harder on Noah or Howard to keep the lakers weak upfront with only McGee

I wish that Cousins would have taken the Pelicans 2/40 deal when he first tore his Achilles. He's still young enough to make the recovery and resume his career, but those potential solid pay days are in his rearview. I wish him well on his road to recovery.

On a side note, I hope that Durant considers DMC's situation as he makes his own comeback.

Ouch, now I do feel sorry for him. That's a creer ender right there.

Being selfish, I don't like what it means for the Lakers, now they're gonna be forced to play AD at center, which they should've been doing in the first place, and that'll make them a more dangerous team. Plus they remove a defensive liability from the rotation, that they'd have to give playing time in the name of chemistry.

While the 2019-20 Los Angeles Clippers may not technically be a superteam, we're pretty close, so I want to present a reminder to make the most out of our opportunity as soon as possible. There should be a sense of urgency instead of waiting for a process to play out.

As previous Lakers' superteams of the past and the Clippers' Lob City teams have shown, competitive windows tend to close quickly before we realize it with opportunities squandered.

I could care less if we beat the Lakers or get swept by them. The only thing I care about is this team making it to the Western Conference Finals with a chance to move into the NBA Finals. If we are in the WC Finals and the Lakers are not, do the regular season match-ups matter? Vice versa.

The entire season is a process to get us to that point. What I want to see during the regular season is an NBA Defense that is championship caliber. I also want to see a roster where the guys at the end of the bench can contribute solid, effective regular season minutes, so we can keep our top players from logging 35+ minutes/night.

It would just make it that much sweeter to face and beat the L.B. Lakers in the Playoffs... where rivalries are really built.

Championship > Beating the Lakers in the Playoffs...
Beating Lakers in the Playoffs > Reaching the Finals and losing...
Not making the Playoffs > Losing to the Lakers in the Playoffs
