With so agressive défense, I don't understand why De Colo and Fournier don't go the rim to get calls
LA 2028 (Starters):
Francisco - Strazel - Malédon - Traoré ?
Coulibaly - Fournier
Risacher - Cordinier
Yabusele- Hoard - Essengue/Penda?
Wembanyama - Lessort - Raynaud / Beringer /Sarr?

All nations, even most progressive ones have these racists comments in random domestic news sites. I have seen it a lot in my day, this is a non story whatsoever. There are scum people all around the world.

Man, this topic has taken a terrible turn thanks to that a-French-fan guy.

Regarding Spain vs Australia: great game, terribly officiated, but Spain had it worst if you ask me. There was a 3-pointer by Rudy Fernandez called as a 2 and not reviewed (that point would have been huge at the end of regulation). Rubio and Gasol were hacked often and it wouldn't get called (Dellavedova and Bogut just can't stop using their hands and fouling), the phantom call on Mills at the end of regulation, then in OT when Gasol and Rubio trapped him, the moving screen calls on Spain but not on Australia... Anyway, just naming a few calls for those outraged like Bogut. It went both ways (they even tied at 22 fouls each) and it makes no sense to cherry pick one single incident.

At the end it became just a matter of experience, defense (Spain's main strength throughout the tournament) and stepping up in an extremely high pressure situation. Mills did it, despite his missed FT and the late TO, and so did Baynes with that 3 to make it a 5 point game with nearly 2 minutes left. Gasol, Rubio and Llull (in the second OT) did as well for Spain. Guys like Ingles (who's prone to getting gun-shy, like any Jazz fan knows) or Kay, not so much at the end.

Congrats to Australia on a great tournament. They're tougher every year and it's just a matter of time for them to make it to a WC or Olympics final.

Argentina's fanaticism is unmatched. It could carry them to a title.

That +3 at the end hurt us a lot. And man Scola is good.
Batum needs to make a damn 3. If we have spacing, it destroys their trapping.

I just realised Team USA dropped from potentially 1st place to 7th-8th place because of 2 abysmal quarters.

Ntilikina's career reminds me of Billups', who was mediocre in his first 4-5 years because he didn't know when to be aggressive/ score and when to involve teammates. I wouldn't trade him.
