Seems like the Nats weren't paid at all for MASN money last season? I don't know if the O's caused this or if it was a MASN decision outside the O's, but... not seeing the O's being at all clean on this - and I'm saying that as an O's fan. I wouldn't trust the Angelos family as far as I can throw them. Not saying the Nats are clean on this either.

Great comeback win on Tuesday night. Might be time to move Robles from 9th spot to 2nd or even third. They apparently are close to signing Bud Norris. Not sure he's the answer in the eighth inning.

Let's revitalize this thread since there is no interest in this horrible team. Will Davey Martinez return from the West Coast if the Dodgers sweep the Nats or take 3 of 4 as expected?

Davey was in over his head from the start.

Time to clean house. Now!

I was watching last night and couldn’t help but want the Nats to blow it and we did. It’s time to cut the loses, admit the hiring of Davey was a bad one and move on. I get we have issues (most notably bullpen and injuries), but there is no justification for us to be this bad with the talent we do have on the roster.

I think it will be after the Marlins series, but there is no way I can see him making it past June 2nd (end of a short road trip).

MLB draft - Nats pick @17 up now. 3 good college pitchers sitting on the board. We need help in the bullpen.

Jackson Rutledge 6’8” 250 lbs 20yr old. RHP, power pitcher from jr college. Upper 90 velocity into the 7th inning. Plus breaking ball curve and slider, his change up is projected to be a plus pitch. Has upside still and may be ready for the pros soon.

Big series against the Braves this weekend to get back in the mix. Apparently, they are going all out with Strasburg, Sanchez and Corbin so really need 2 of 3.

As we reach the all-star break, the Nats have the 3rd best record in the NL.

Yeah.....

That's amazing. They must have the best record in baseball since they were 12 games under .500. And that's a team built to win in the playoffs with 3 dominating starting pitchers - the Braves don't have that. And once Doolittle is fully back, their bullpen is no longer a weakness, imo. 7 games coming up soon against the Braves... high drama.

Is that a foreshadow? Nats are currently down 8-4 in the 8th. Are you saying...? No way, they're not gonna pull off another ridiculous comeback.
