Things could be worse in Berlin.

A couple of fitting thoughts popular within our management and coaching stuff here:

Lost today? Nevermind, there is another game next week. Maybe our supreme tactical approach with slowly forward moving FB's to break down opposing defenses will work next game, month or year.
Deadlast spot? Just turn the table around, we are ahead.
Lost in first round of cup? If it wasn't for an unfortunate turn of events we would've been in Berlin in May for sure.
Buying quality wingers? What are you talking about? This position does not exist in modern football.
Buying a Bundesliga-level CB-backup? Not necessary when you have Snail Bell and the Great Alexander Hack as Backups.
Adapting system if it's not working? Why, there is always a next game, where it might be working.
Limit defensive mistakes to a minimum? Not necessary, opponents scoring is always an unfortunate turn of events and you can't expect them to capitalize on our mistakes as they do.

Adam Szalai? Really Rouven?

So we have 7 strikers in Mateta (inj), Ji (inj), Quaison, Onisiwo, Burkardt, Szalai and Awoniyi on the roster now but still just a single winger who is not exactly in top form.

Lainer is pretty decent Det. Technique not exactly stellar but his workrate is sick. Wish we had a player like that on our roster.

Other than that...not as bad as Mainz...but Gladbach will probably have a fairly difficult season. I dont see a top 5 finish.

Yeah, Lainer's basically nuts and sometimes pressing three players on his own.
Overall we`re a work in progress and the offense needs some work and refinement because we destroy possiblities on our own and give the ball away too easily.

Today it was yet another stupid loss to Leipzig. As usually we played solid, had some chances and gave up totally **** goals which play in their hands as we have to go forward even more.
Also gotta take one of those chances in the first half and maybe take the lead to force them to change it up a bit.

BTW: I'm not sure what kind of place we'll finish in this season but I think we'll get better as the season goes on and should have Rose`s style of play down for next season the least.

Curious to see whether the amount of goals we conceed today is over or under 4.5

I kind of think it will be over.

Then again, management has completely ignored some of the weaknesses we have and instead we now have 7 strikers for 2 spots. Gonna be a long and disappointing season.

At this point I question whether we have even the physical stamina to play Bundesliga.

Certainly doesnt look like it.

Can you send Pal Dardai to Mainz Nathan? Will take his defensive approach.

Wouldn't be shocked to see him coaching Hertha again in 3-4 weeks tbh.

Well that would mean you have lost the top match of the season in two weeks.
Can't envision that right now given how crap we are.

We got those mandatory three points at Colo**** and should've finished them off in the first half already.

Mainz also got a win against Hertha, who now have one point from three games which was the one they got at Bayern.

I was in the stadium today.

Terrible game. Nathan will probably agree.

Will take the points though.

I'm just happy to know that I can ignore the rest of the season and I won't miss anything.

Aaron injured. This is shaping up to be a truely ugly season.

Lets see. Maybe just one point against Wolfsburg and Paderborn might be enough to hire a competent coach?
