-- Nobody who's currently injured. (Durant, Klay, Cousins ...)
-- Nobody who's recently been "load managed". (Kawhi, Lebron ...)
-- Nobody named "Anthony" in any way.

Then we still have:
-- Guards: Curry, Harden, Westbrook, Lilliard, Beal, Conley, Walker, Irving, Mitchell ...
-- Natural SFs: George, Butler, several Celtics, ...
-- Bigs: Draymond, Turner, a couple of Pistons, a number of young players ...

That's a lot.

The excuses are just excuses. US team had the talent to win with the current players and they didn’t.

These are NBA players playing against teams that have 2 or 3 NBA players. They didn’t play well and they were poorly coached. No excuses.

When team USA previously lost in FIBA, a bunch of top players dedicated themselves to team USA over multiple years to win the Olympics and WC. They had to stay together and learn to play together and get used to playing FIBA BBall, because it was different than NBA BBall. Their dedication and work paid off with multiple WC and Olympic golds under coach K. This summers loss in FIBA was predictable. Tream USA had new players under a new coaching crew. These new players were not used to playing together under FIBA rules, but many of their opponents were.
