I really like the Aussie team and feel sorry for them, but some of their fellow Australians deserve this loss for their poor behaviour.

Now i am more irritated than when the tornuament started, 4th yet again, we've had no progression in ages, ffs show up and compete in medal games for once you useless idiots. Its great we got this far but after a certain point mere participation doesn't mean anything, the fact of the matter is we're leaving with SFA yet again from international competition.

Oh yeah, basketball australia should spend some money on a coach, lemannis's rotations are horrid (and honestly, he's pretty sub par in the NBL, what hope does he have to win in international basketball then).

Australia only had 9 points from its bench versus 38 bench points from the bench for France.

Bogdan Bogdanovic is best scorer of 2019 World Cup.

Well done my man.

You beat me to it. I guess it's total points lead for Bogdan. If Guna Ra played whole tournament, he would average 30. He was just getting warmed up.

I'm done with basketball after Portland gave up 3 30point leads in a row in the WCF and Australia just gave up a golden opportunity (France didn't even play well we just crumpled) for bronze after an amazing all round tournament.

All sports does is build you up to bring you down

France was just another vastly overrated team here. Not even close to the one with Parker, Diaw, Gelabale, Hervelle, Batum, etc, which still wasn´t able to overcome Spain back in the day.

And well, off to the tv!

What I think team USA should do, is select from a pool of volunteers. That way you only have people that really want to play.

What a weak performance by Argentinians.
That's why I hate single game elemination tournaments.
France and Serbia would at least keep the game close against Spaniards
