Raptors cause apparently it was doesn't count when the other team has injured players.

The Clippers are the obvious choice, but I'm in the camp that they are not big favorites and their window is short. The Pels have the cards to make it happen!

It would be cool to see the next 3 champs from that list.

Clippers
Nets
Denver

As someone said if Clips don't win a title in next couple years they have failed miserably and may never win one. Hopefully them. Other than them I could see the Jazz or Nuggets having a random Raptors type run title with Jokic or Gobert utterly dominating the finals.

Get that ish outta here. That’s Seattle’s championship

I think the OKC ownership has shared rights to the Sonics history with the city of Seattle. So I think the franchise technically has won a championship. Similar to how teams like the Lakers count their championships when the franchise was in another city. But yeah as far as cities go, OKC hasn't won one.

For now, but when the NBA goes back to Seattle they definitely will buy back their history.

The most logical choice this year is the Clippers. Within 2-3 years the Jazz, Nets and Nuggets are also possibilities.

If we are talking about this year, I'd say the Jazz, Clips and Nuggets are all strong candidates in the west, with the Clippers ahead of the other two but can change as the season moves on.

I don't see any team in the East(on the list, so not including 76ers or Bucks) to be near the same teir as those 3. Maybe in the future teams like the Nets with a healthy KD can make a strong case.

Probably the Clippers. Would love to see the Nuggets, Jazz or the Pacers.

But aren't the Clippers sort of a superteam? Does that mean Kawhi will self-destruct his own team?

Superteam is with 3 or more All-Star players. Clippers only have 2.

I'm going to say Denver. Clippers are an obvious choice given their summer haul, but I don't know if Paul George's health is going to hold up.

How is their window short?

Kawhi 28 (just turned 28 too)
PG 29
Beverley 30
Lou 32
Shamet 22
Harrell 25
Zubac 22
Green 29
Robinson 22
Harkless 26

That's their core group going forward most likely for the next few years. That's an average age of 24.3 years old in their core guys. A legit 4-5 year window IF Kawhi+PG re-sign and don't have catastrophic injuries. It's a similar window to the Warriors IMO, albeit much less dominance overall as a team (just longevity, not sheer dominance or how good).

Y'all have no idea how much I'll cry if the Clippers actually ever win the championship.

Jazz, Clippers and Nuggets all have good shots. I think most would say the Clippers are the favorites of that group right now - but I wouldn't be shocked to see any of those teams in the finals.

Lac are the obvious answer coz they are ready right now. Denver are probably next in order.
